And a long ban. And his fucking nose broken in the tunnel after the match.

But there are some folk out there who think this kind of thing is acceptable. I'd like to see them come on here and defend this piece of shit.

I blame FIFA, they seem to think it's acceptable behaviour

When it's as clear as that either at the time or on video evidence there must be a punishment that makes a professional footballer choose not to cheat, it's pretty simple really

Not to difficult.
Say the diver was trying to repay an earlier in his opinion, injustice.Unless one has seen the whole match and heard every side of the argument anything but laughing at the incident is jumping to conclusions.

Nope!

Bloody hilarious that! Shocking execution though, the lad needs Nani to give him some tips on how to do it properly!

No I cannot possibly see how this can be taken out of any context, even if there is context. Pretty lame for a captain of a major club.

That said, yes, very good laugh.

It's brilliant because it's so pointless. The only times I get offended by dives are when they're in penalty/last-man situations and unfairly change the course of a game. This is just comedy.

They should replay that on the big screen in the stadium (if they have one) time and time again to make the prick look an even bigger prick than he already is....a 3 game ban and fined a years wages...I fuckign want to smash the screen when I see shit like this.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Exactly - not only was the dive horrendous, he did it at the half way line. Utterly useless in every sense
