Starting to think he wont go nowhere now till Christmas, then the whole thing can kick off again and he will be off to Corithians. Gives time for Aguero to bed in!

the thing is mate, if he stays we are bound to use him in the CL which then reduces his options in Europe so Corinthian's will be his only option.

I personally can't see us finding a suitor for him, which is why he's come back. Kia tried his hardest to blag a deal with Corinthian's but I think we smelt the rat and fucked him off with his back-handed contract negotiations.

I hope he stays despite all the shit he brings, he's a quality player. We ain't good enough to be wanting rid of possibly one of the top 3 strikers in the world at the moment imo.

we could do with him, we are not in the business on turning our backs on world class players who have done there utmost on the pitch.

As long as no bid comes in,he is ours and will play if i was the gaffer...

I'm getting fed uo/bored of the whole business, but, if he puts on a blue shirt, is prepared to give it his all, and play for the team then stick him on.

Well, Mancini did say that he expects him to be the professional when/if Carlos can't find another club which says to me that he's happy to keep and play him.

The stumbling block for most of our want-away's/cast-off's is that no-one can afford their wages, and in Carlos' case, the fee with no sell on option.

Judging by the shambles of an attack Sunday, I'd suggest we could really do with him. It's been a drawn out load of shite, for sure, but he is without any competition as our best player, possibly since the great glory days. The prospect of him and Kun is, frankly, mouth-watering. It could be the difference between a title push or not, in my honest opinion.

He'll leave though, Inter will take him. I have no idea why we have not used him as part of a Sneijder deal. No idea whatsoever. Or maybe we are...?

If a deal is done, say with Inter, then I'm sure we ain't going to stand in his way. However, I'm also sure that Mancini will be privately hoping he stays and gives 100%, I know I'd want him to if I was in his position. He's going to be fighting on all fronts this year and someone like Carlos is Gold-dust when it comes to getting those all important goals, especially considering that none of our other strikers, although potentially world beaters themselves, are yet to prove tried and trusted.

Carlos to Mancini is worth more than money itself, it could be the difference between keeping one of the best jobs in the world or being out on your arse with a big 'Failure' tag hanging around is neck.

Good call pal, are we doing a CityFans one this year? Top 10 finish in the last 3 seasons, need to pick it up this year.

i dont think so..neither will aguero. i dropped aguero and suarez for week 1. picking em up week 2, maybe 3.
Tevez i dunno still...i dont think he will play week 1..it is swansea. call me cocky but i think we can beat them
with our community shield line up up front (balo [ugh], dzeko, silva, toure, milner).

I have no idea if tevez will start so I might just put Balotelli in my fantasy team. But that just doesn't seem right.

Who's the most nailed on for the swansea game out of all of our forwards?

Well, we may see things pick-up on Carlos now. I also wonder if there'll be any movement on Sneijder now that Eto'o has moved along?

The agent of Samuel Eto'o has confirmed the Inter Milan striker is close to sealing a move to Anzhi Makhachkala - with the Italian club planning to make Carlos Tevez his replacement.

talkSPORT told you yesterday the Cameroonian does not want to extend his contact at the San Siro and was eyeing a shock switch to the Russian club.

And Eto’s representative Claudio Vigorelli has confirmed his client has "almost reached an agreement" over personal terms.

Anzhi are yet to agree a fee with Inter for the 30-year-old but that is not expected to be a problem, with the club bankrolled by billionaire owner Suleyman Kerimov.

The big-spending Russians recently signed Chelsea's Yuri Zhirkov, while Roberto Carlos is their captain, and are believed to be ready to pay Eto’o a staggering £20million a year.

"We have almost reached an agreement with Anzhi. Now we hope that the clubs agree," Vigorelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are expected to use the funds from the sale of Eto’o to launch a bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, who is desperate to leave the Eithad Stadium and is keen on a move to the San Siro.

The Carlos bit may not be but Eto'o is definately/maybe going to Anzhi, on big money.

Samuel Eto’o is seriously considering a move from Inter to Anzhi Makhachkala, his representative has confirmed.

Speaking with Russian website Sports.ru, Claudio Vigorelli confirmed the expectation that the striker would be sold.

“We have practically reached an agreement with Anzhi,” Vigorelli noted. “Hopefully, the clubs will now also agree between themselves.

“Did Predrag Mijatovic represent Anzhi? Predrag is a friend of Samuel and Anzhi director German Chistyakov, therefore he was present during the negotiations.”

It is being claimed that the Russian outfit have made Inter an offer of between €30m and €40m for the Cameroon star.

It is also being suggested that the player himself will net a massive €17m a season while with Anzhi Makhachkala.

“Unfortunately, the media have been reporting false figures in relation to Samuel’s contract,” insisted Vigorelli.

“But I will repeat, we have practically agreed things with Anzhi.”

Inter confirmed yesterday, through transfer chief Marco Branca and owner Massimo Moratti, that they are considering the sale of Eto’o.

The Italian media are already speculating that the Nerazzurri will target Carlos Tevez of Manchester City once Eto’o departs.

I've also read somewhere that Inter's CEO has stated that they won't be going for Carlos, nor will they be selling Sneijder (which could be a consequence of this deal).
