We have all been reading the Bollox and watching the interviews, is anyone else sick of his attitude? We haven't even started our campaign yet and he is making excuses.
What ever happened to egging the fans on!!!!!

I'm not turning on him, I fully back old Bobby, I just wish he would come across more positive in the press!

He's putting pressure on the board, to get in the players he wants. Imo, without at least 1 more player, we cannot compete for both the league & the Chump's lg. We will get injuries & are not yet strong enough as a team to bring in no marks, in key positions, & get away with it. We need Nasri, as we are short on experienced attacking/mid quality.
It's an excuse, of course, but it's a genuine one.

that ^^^^^
if we definitely keep Tevez and bring in Nasri then we are in better shape but I'd personally like to see another 1-2 players on top of that. If we could bring in someone like Schneeeidjer (haha) plus one we'd look good. If we just bring in this Cerci then I think we look very bloody thin on the ground.

we also have every paper and pundit putting more and more presure on us and all hoping for us as a club to fail big time. I dont blame him one bit for this.

Utter nonsense. What you want him to do? leave him be and keep your attitude towards the team.

I too would like more than just Nasri but I think he's the minimum. I still think we are missing a set piece specialist & a crosser, although Kolarov was showing improvement & Silva's ball for Lescott's goal brings hope.

We need a midfielder and a right winger, this much is obvious.
Not sure we need to replace Tevez if he leaves with Balo, Dzeko and Aguero on the books, but Nasri and Mata would do the trick nicely.

The press are already (did they ever stop?) having digs at us, nothing mancini or any city player does will draw anything but a metaphorical sneer from them. So if mancini says "were not 100% yet", a harmless statement that could mean any of a hundred things, he is simply taking away there ammo.
He could just be trying to get his on way with a few transfers or he could be saying our 2 best strikers arent ready for monday or he could be saying the new signings arent up to speed with things yet.
Really nothing to cry about, we are in for a good season, we know it, mancini knows it, aguero knows it and the press hate the fact they know it.

After the Charity Shield game, he's just saying what we all were thinking:
We're not ready, yet.

I think this is right, Ted.

not fussed what press think. Don't really care what us fans think. The important factor is the players. The danger, as with the 'tiredness' claims last season is that they see it is an excuse, too. If they go on the pitch following the manager saying they're not up to speed yet, there's a chance some won't give 100%, knowing the reason is already in the open. Saying one thing in private and another in public is fine, unless the players listen to the wrong one.

Unless Kolarov has made some major improvements on his defending he should not be anywhere near starting line up.
Silva is magician as far as making great passes go but he doesn't have that strength in his crosses to put good balls from the corners in the box in regular basis.
I agree by the way. Nasri is absolute minimum but I too would like some options on the wing especially if we are really letting SWP go.

He's playing mind games Gilford - too many people are tipping us as contenders. He's also playing politics with his masters. No need to fret.

There is an element too of taking the focus away from the players. Throwing the gutter press an apparent pop at his bosses has the red tops distracted from being critical of the players who are preping for the start of a very long season.

Spot on.
Mourinho has made it form of art. When the heat is on, he'll divert the attention to himself.
