A first for MCFC forums
It is another first for the popular Manchester City FC Forum MANCITYFANS.NET with the launch of their iPhone/iPad and Android phone App, MANCITYFANS – A MANCHESTER CITY FORUM

The forum has always taken pride in leading the way at the quality end of the football discussion board arena, and now with the launch of the iPhone, iPad and Android phone apps it has set itself head and shoulders above the competition in forum development as well.

King Kev and Wonderwall, the forum owners said in a joint statement “We have always tried hard to keep abreast of new technologies and trends. Market research tells us that the way people use discussion boards and online forums is changing and it is our job to keep as up to date as possible.

Director of Development, Patrick added “My team continually strive to find ways to make the site easier, faster and more convenient. Now our wonderful members can get their fill any time they want. The app sets us apart from other fan sites, it is entirely funded by ourselves, and is a thank you to the loyalty and contribution of our membership”

Blue Toy, Head of Marketing and part time Guru, said “this was a great team effort, everyone pulled hard to bring this off before the new season and our members like that. It is amazing given the short timesacales involved yet despite there being a few days delay in the launch of the iPhone/iPad App, we are now live and running as the first App based Manchester City FC forum”.

“We may not be the biggest, but we are surely the best quality, and now probably the most advanced Manchester City Forum in all the land and all the world” added the Chief Technical Officer MRM

Chinners our candidate for parlaiment was unfortunately unavailable for comment having been called back to London to advise the PM on the serious issues facing the country

On the Adroid market now and the Apple store hopefully by the end of this week.

Ive just downloaded it and cant wait to use it. Just a couple of questions.

1.How do I sign in?
2.How do post a reply or start a new thread?

If you press menu on your phone when your in the App it should say login from there you should be able to post and start new threads

Well its a lot faster than using the web base on the phone. The text is at the perfect size so you don't have to keep zooming in and out. Overall its just faster and easier to view and post on the topic you want.

the app has a big, thick meaty index finger it will use to massage your prostate WHILE it licks your hairy nuts, whereas with the site you just get the hairy nut licking experience. Should be right up your alley i'd guess.

p.s. been using it on my Samsung Galaxy tablet today and i do like it. Great stuff fellas. threading took a second to get used to, but i actually like how that works tbh.

Currently unable to use the app, (android) - it's permanently stuck at "connecting to remote server" (or remote site or whatever)

Is that not a problem connecting to the internet rather than a problem with the app?

Used it yesterday, absolutely fantastic. Great work from all involved!

The links in posts don't seem to work (as hyperlinks) for me.
As an example i can't open the link in "Match preview now online" thread

My theory is that it tried to do whatever it needs to do while in a bad area of reception, now even when it's in an area of good reception it's stuck at the same point. Maybe I can get rid of the app and try redownloading it.

Sorted it, the back button breaks whatever it was stuck doing.

Nothing yet mate. We were hoping it would be sorted by now, hopefully not much longer now!
