Kompany and De Jong contracts

Does anyone know if these players have now had their contracts sorted out. There does not seem much point in signing new players and ignoring these fantastic performers for us week in week out. The Mirror is reporting De jong is gutted and Kompany not happy while Adebayor trousers a salary that is bigger reportedly that theirs combined.
Vince is now the skipper but does anyone now if this is paper talk or are we as a club ignoring a problem in the making.

I think the only thing we heard from de Jong on the subject was there were delays in his new contract which were frustrating(coinciding with the north american tour) but things would be sorted soon.
Haven't heard anything from Kompany, but he should be receiving a new contract, the guy has earned the armband, surely enough for a new contract as well.

Same here.
They will be sorted once the club feels it's time. And that will happen eventually

Didn't Vince sign a new 5 year contract a couple of years back to reflect his position in the squad after the new owners came in?
By my reckoning he's got at least 3 years left to run so we won't be talking until the end of this year.

Whether they sign or not, we can replace them.

De Jong maybe. Although why would we spend money on transfer fee and wages when we can hold on to De Jong by giving him improved deal.
Kompany though, I don't know about that. I honestly feel he is among top 10, if not top 5, centerbacks in the world with leadership skills to die for. I'm not sure we could replace him.

We won't let these two slip through the net. They're happy at City & we want them. It will get done, even if it needs negotiation.

From Daniel Taylor: 'Joorabchian has also become involved with the Dutchman Nigel de Jong, a key player who has just rejected the terms on offer for a new contract.'
If this is true, it puts an entirely different light on things. Danger Will Robinson, Danger..

What is annoying is that he's not an agent and he doesn't have an agent's licence, yet he is making deals and is working as an agent...

This is the kind of stuff UEFA/FIFA allow to happen, probably because they all get free lunches & backhanders off people like Kia.

Wasn't Kia involved in Hart's deal as well? He rejected our opening offer, I am certain this will get sorted out.

I still live in hope that Sheikh Mansour will put his hand in his pocket one more time, hire the finest assassin in the world and put this slimey, greedy parasite in a coffin.

I imagine that once Tevez goes, we'll tell the other players that they either deal with Joorabchian or us but that they can't do both.

What's the point in the FA approving agents and listing them on their site if someone can just act as an unofficial agent and fuck around with Premier League clubs? Come on FA do something about it.
