Ah my favourite journalist. there I was waiting for a regular dose of 'nasty City sack Mark Hughes', when Ollie came through as one of our greatest fans.

He says Mancini is doing a great job under huge pressure of building a squad spirit, is right to hook out all the troublemakers, and that there was a great feeling about the place last Monday.

All had us down as a close second to Scum.

Good old Ollie, never doubted him for a minute.

He's a Stockport fan isn't he? Both him and Henry Winter have said all along that we'll get there, they have their occasional snipes (Winter was REALLY unhappy about Hughes getting sacked) but have been fairly consistent in the view that the project would deliver

On the contrary Irby, Ollie has been totally consistent in slagging us off and constantly carping about Mark Hughes. But he's obviously had a recent Damascus moment.

Henry joined our fan club when he was given the Marwood treatment - sat down for a day and given all the details of our future project and the thinking behind it.

Not what I've read/heard. They are not City fans so I don't expect them to be 100% supportive and yes they do disagree with things that happen at the club from time to time but if you take the blue tinted glasses off they give us exactly the same treatment as any other team in those instances. However, as I said, these two have been consistent in the opinion that we will become a force, even when others were still claiming the sheikh would be here for two years and leave us high and dry.

Henry Winter has been fair, Holt has been a total wanker. Obviously, he & others like Paul Hayward, who has been a vicious ureasonable snidey twat are positioning themselves so they get in on the inside, rather than being left with the Mirror, Sun & Paul Merson.

If that fucking Spurs vampire character joins them, they should invite them to the newly built press room down below, get them pissed & fill it with concrete.

Sorry I'm not buying the Holt thing either. He had been consistent however. Consistent with his snidey hollier than thou comments. He's slightly moving the goalposts now so he doesn't get left outside the loop ..., loathsome scum of a hack who will be back to sticking the knife in at the first hint/stall of our 'project'.

We could go back through the videos courtesy of johnny crossan, but I think it's fair to say they have all had their snidey little digs at City, some more vehement than others, but I have no doubt if City are sitting top at Christmas, they will all sing our praises and then backhand us with a variation of 'bought the title'.

Martin Samuel? To my understanding he was the only one from the start of the "project" said good luck City somebody needs to break into the top 4.
