Met Gai Assulin today...

Postby twosips » Wed Aug 24, 2011 8:19 pm

I work in Levi's in town. He was in trying clothes on. No one recognised him apart from me. Ha.

My boss got pretty excited when I explained who he was though. Sadly my boss is a Hearts fan (poor guy) so he wasn't too familiar with our youth team prospects. Anyway, I asked how his knee was and he said he's feeling good at the moment. He seemed surprised I recognised him really.

Seemed like a dead down to earth guy. Tried on a check shirt and he was just with his mum shopping. Scruffy with converse on. Quite refreshing to see a footballer not 'blinged up' really.

I said to him 'tell Samir I said hello by the way!' as he was leaving, and he replied 'oh has he officially signed now?'...I said that it'd just been annouced and he said great, and he'd tell him I said hi haha

Sorry about the new thread. Just wanted to tell someone. Pretty buzzing that Gai Asullin, one of the brightest young players in the world found out about Nasri's transfer via me :D
