Arsenal Fans Abusing Nasri

Nasri tweeted congratulations to Arsenal for their win tonight and was met with a barrage of abuse from Arseanl fans.

Am I missing something here, he isn't the first player to change clubs for better prospects and more money! Do these muppets think he left Marseille to join them because he was a boyhood Gooner??

He has said nothing but nice things about Arsenal, their manager and even their fans so why the hostility towards him??

Lol it's not as if they didn't get a good deal ffs for a guy with 10 months left on his contract and he said he will defo leave when it ends, 23 mill don't sound to bad to me.
But it's like the tevez situation we have, you can see why they are upset, it's all about loyalty, and no footballer these days has it.

Equally I'm surprised at your surprise here.

I heard that Nasri said he felt that City fans were more passionate than Arseanl fans, not something that is likely to receive a warm response from Arsenal fans however true it may be.

Football provokes irrational and passionate responses from all fans (often in the heat of the moment), I seem to recall one or two sharp comments on here where a certain Argentinian who top scored for us last season is concerned. By the same token, are we supposed to believe Tevez came to City from the rags because he was a life long city fan? I think not.

They still all believe that the only reason anyone would join City is for money, to yawn and chuckle to yourselves is the only response needed

Yup. It's like when Neuer switched from Schalke 04 to Bayern. The intensely loyal Bayern fans were pissed, to say the least. They booed him when he first played and even managed a way to encounter him and tell him what he could and couldnt do while at the club, including that he could never kiss the Bayern bade on his kit.
Quite irrational.
