The link above is about a possibility that Danielle de Rossi is the last name that Bob wants to bring this summer. After seeing how pe played in this start of the season, after City has imho the best midfielders in the league, do we need de Rossi, who is a world class player, but on position where we have Milner, Nige, Yaya, Barry?

So, we need de Rossi?

Dont think we need him, but i rate him very highly and would love him at City. If he comes in we would have to offload surely.

Ridiculous.

Every time Peter Parker goes on about a player we're linked with they tend to end up coming. For that reason alone I bet this has legs.

De Rossi and Nige in the same midfield would be brutal.

At the very least, you must get your information from good, well-informed news sites. Nobody this side of Bucharest had heard of Pantelimon before you flagged it up (and yes, I know he played against us last year).

I think its enough. Dont really like the idea of us being super super strong. That would mean the demise of the old city we all cherish, wouldnt it?

Mancini said he was a midfielder short and he wasn't including in his definition attacking midfielders. He was then asked would he like de Rossi and he said yes. He went on to say that he thought de Rossi was a one club type of footballer and he doubted he'd be available. Marwood said we're only interested in loan players this window.

Gago and Drenthe are available from Real on loan according to their manager but I don't know whether Mancini's interested.

For my money we could do with a top class centre half who dominates in the air rather than a midfielder but Mancini clearly feels that De Jong, Barry, Yaya, Milner isn't enough for the League and three Cups. Sounds like he doesn't fancy Zabaleta there as an auxiliary.

With Roma's fans alredy furious with the new management for the early and unexpected exit from the EL at the hand of the mighty Slovan Bratislava, if the board sold De Rossi they would be better off taking the first plane back to Boston.
