I was surprised to see how many players have left the club during this window;
Poole
Logan
Caicedo
Vidal
Tutte
Kay
Gonzalez
McDermott
Boateng
Mee
Vieira
Given
Jo
Trippier
Johnson
Ibrahim
McGivern
Adebayor
Boyatta
Santa Cruz
Guidetti
SWP
Bellamy
That should help with the wage bill!

So it looks like a shrewd bit of business getting that Williams (?) bloke in from Blackburn to sort out the deadwood

Decent effort in the end.
I'd be interested to know what sort of deal we did on Bellamy's contract.
I suppose the only disappointment is that Bridge is still around picking up his rumoured £90k a week. The lad must have absolutely no desire to play football.

Not too sure about that mate, with Bellers and SWP sold now (and Jo I think!). I know Real Betis are paying €1.5 million of RSC's wages, which is better than a kick in the teeth. All the lesser earners will be being paid in full. Plus there will usually be loan fees. We may be paying half of Adebayor's wages but I heard there was also a loan fee of £2M.
Make no mistake all this lot will be a big chunk on the balance sheet.
Now we just need to get rid of Bridge and his agent, and 'Soccer AM' Neddy. Dont be surprised if some agreement is reached just to fuck them off out of it. make a deal on their wages so they are free to get a new contract elsewhere. We have a certain liability on the balance sheet for their remaining contracts. If we pay them half of that they can negotiate somewhere else and everyone is a winner. Neither would bring in a great fee anyway.

Loans to championship are still an option so they could end up here, personally id give neddy a reprieve and name him in our 25 man squad, we have abs no need for bridge though so no idea what to do with him. I would prob let them train with 1st team as they dont seem to come across as bad influences like ade or bellers....

I think there was definitely a player rebellion element when Mancini came. Led by Bellers obviously, but others got foolishly involved, like Neddy, thinking they would show this Italian fella and he'd be out the door. To be fair we've all done something similar (well I have), and it was similarly stupid. They didn't know who they were dealing with and now Bobby's got rid of them all, and we're playing his way with his players, and it works!
Whether Bridge was in this I'm not sure, but there was some problem with his agent larging it a bit, and he hasn't played since.
Must admit I forgot they could still go to the Championship.

I dont remember there been problems with bridge(in saying that i wouldnt know, but surprisingly very little reported if there was), i always just imagined Mancini thought he was shit and not good enough and not worth all the hassle after the incident with terry and the neagtive publicity it showed the club(despite it not being bridges fault).

He can wallow in his own greed.
We did well to move on such a quantity of deadwood but cant help but feel other clubs are slightly taking advantage of our position with all these loan deals.

Looks like we dropped a bollock not taking Elly man´s offer for Ned last season. Not bad though, the squad is nice and trim but bursting with quality. Let´s hope Shaunny nails the rags and Bellers takes a swing at Carroll with his golf club - job´s a good un

Does anyone know when Bridge's contract will expire? I've heard an interesting rumor that Vaslui are prepared to offer him 2 mil/year, but only if he is free. (that club is allowed only to buy free players).

This may be the most blatantly false rumor I've ever heard. Why on earthwould they spend the money (2 mil Leu I'm assuming, not euros or pounds) on an old washed up player with little to no recognition overseas?

Vaslui had a problem with UEFA and they are only allowed to buy free players. Yesterday they made an offer for Kezman (who signed meanwhile with Borisov), Lucho Figueroa, Viduka and Basturk and rumor has it they need a left back and Bridge is one of their first options.

Is it Vaslui that is accused of fielding inelligable players in Europe? Platini was commenting on it recently, even though there was an ongoing dispute which was still to be resolved.

Yep, does lads. The club is one of the reachest in Estern Europe, but they have a lot of problems such as players that apparently are under a contract with them, sign with other teams. They were banned from buying players the past year and they will be allowed to bring in only free players, but only after 15 september.
I know the problem was solved, but they sued UEFA for their ban. It's a complex problem, no one knows exactly what is going on there.

Are they allowed to pay loan fees? maybe we could charge them the equivalent of a transfer fee but in the form of a loan until the end of his contract (then they get him for nothing at the end of it)
