They did it with Lescott & now they're doing it with Arteta; the club negotiates to sell the player but pretends it's the evil player & evil clubs tapping them up yet all the time they're negotiating behind the scenes. The scouse knobheads fall for it every time.

Do they really believe that Arteta suddenly threw in a fucking transfer request & was suddenly spirited away by Arsenal, coincidentally at a moment in time where it meant it was impossible for their terminally skint club to spend any of the fucking money ? It's really been horrible few years for Everton as far as transfers go.

And although they have a weakened team, I still think that there are plenty of teams that are worse. Of the "traditional" teams, i reckon that both Blackburn and Fulham are in deeper shit.
