In The Sun (I know, I know) there is an article about Tevez being 'back in love' with City. At the top is a picture of Mancini and Tevez smiling at each other, in between the two of them is....... who?

Is that a photoshopped opposition player or am I being daft not recognising him?

I dont see 1 reason at all why he should EVER be given the captains armband ever again...........amazing how now no cunt could afford him he is now in LOVE with Man City again.
He is part of the squad...nothing more nothing less and will be used as and when needed.....Ill be fucked if he should now be a first team starter.

I think Macini's got him EXACTLY where he want's him now. Carlos has had to do a fair bit of climbing down the last week or two - He's seen Aguero/Dzeko suddenly jump ahead of him in the squad so he know he's got to kip it zipped and bloody well play. If he goes stomping off again because he's not automatic first choice then he'll be labelled unmanageable and no other club (which can afford him) will want to come near him - His only future is with us for the next couple of seasonsat least

He shouldn't be given captaincy but he still should feature heavily. It would be daft not to play one of the top strikers in world football. They'll be games this season we'll be glad we have Tevez.

No I don't think so, I read an interview with kompany about a week ago and he was saying if he gets made captain then nothing would change between him and Tevez. So I'm guessing no official decision has been made.

True, but in my opinion we have the makings of the best front two in world football. Agüero and Dzeko. I love our new fluid formation, that flits between this:

Depending on how the game is going. Not even counted NDJ, Milner, Tevez, Balotelli or Kolo or AJ into the mix. For the first time in my lifetime, we are fucking ace and I love it.

I can 99.9% guarantee he didn't. Find me the original 'interview' in Spanish and I'll tell you what he actually said.

That interview he gave to an Argentine chat show, for example, when he said he'd 'never' return to Manchester, was obfuscated to the point of libel.

Will probably get a game against Wigan, as will Milner, Balotelli and AJ as perhaps Silva, Dzeko, Ya Ya and Aguero are kept nice and fresh for Napoli.

Tevez will be a very valuable member of the squad but no longer the central figure, therein lies the important distinction.
