sorry if this offends those that enjoy the rags playing for England, but the worst two players tonight have been wooney & smalling. Especially Smalling- constantly out of position, just lumps the ball forward and how many fouls has he given away? Richards is miles better.

Basel's Shaqiri scores a hat trick on his own turf. Ft 3-1 swiss. Boring game though

if speed had half a brain, he'd have switched bale to the other wing.... smalling is not an international right back....

not to harp on the issue, but if Richards was playing for the scum he'd be talked about as one of the best wingbacks in the world and automatic w/ A. Cole for the teamsheet

I actually turned it off to watch the USA v Belgium to see Kompany play. More exciting game, and it is just a friendly.

Why Wales never thought to send Bale up against the woeful Smalling is anyone's guess. Plus with Smalling and Downing down the same wing have you ever seen such a pedestrian and predictable attack?

Oh and four City players on the pitch at the end , any mention of that from the commentators? thought not, but then if they mentioned it they might have to admit that we started with as many as Utd too

You must have had a different feed than me, they made the comment when Johnson came on about 3 city players in the midfield.

Wales fan dies after incident at Wembley England game

A man thought to be a Wales fan has died following an incident before the match against England at Wembley.

The man, aged 44, was taken to hospital with head injuries after suffering cardiac arrest outside the stadium.

He died in hospital shortly before 21:00 BST.

Six people, all thought to be Wales supporters, were arrested and police do not believe any England fans were involved. The Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command is investigating.

Emergency services were called to an area outside the sporting venue at about 19:20 BST, following reports of an assault shortly before kick-off.

A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesman said: "I can confirm that LAS got a call at 7.20pm to reports of an assault outside Wembley Stadium.

"Staff treated a 44-year-old man who had suffered a cardiac arrest. Extensive efforts were made to resuscitate the patient and he was taken to hospital."

Staff on standby at the international match were on the scene within three minutes, the spokesman said.

The victim was taken to a north London hospital in an ambulance belonging to a private medical contractor employed by Wembley.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

Police believe they have identified the victim but await formal confirmation that all his next of kin have been informed.

England won the European Championship qualifying match 1-0.

Very sad news, violence doesn't need to happen at a football match. I just wish others would realize that.

Yeah, we don't need to use violence, we can just wait for the taffys to die by heart attack...might take a little longer but we'll soon be shot of the lot of them.
