A question for Walmai.........

Postby Mikhail Chigorin » Wed Sep 07, 2011 4:15 pm

.....or anyone else who's seen anything of West Ham this season.

Hi Walmai,

Your Hammers have made a promising start to life in the Championship and, until selling Parker, looked to have a pretty decent midfield line-up for that particular League.

However, I'm intrigued as to how the Manager has been approaching it; is your football being played on the ground through the middle, or has he reverted to type and adopted the longball style.

From listening to football 'phone in' programmes, the only theme that seems to have been recurrently mentioned by contributors, is that you look very organised, disciplined and 'balanced', when compared to last season.

Just wonder if you could shed some light and more precise details as to how the playing style is going and if it has changed overmuch from the 'traditional' West Ham way.

Im not Walmai but ive seen WHU twice this season and on both occasions i wasnt impressed with parker, they have signed lansbury and with gary o neill to come back in(plus im nearly sure they signed a couple more but cant be certain) they look strong in midfield and should be fine without Parker.

The two times ive seen them they have played with one man up front, i think they have more than enough to go with two out and out frontmen in most of the games and destroy most teams but thats just my opinion. The squad they have now is better than a few premierships squad, they should of got Sam in earlier last season and gave him some cash he would of saved them....
derby day the scores were level,

He gives a decent insight into Karen Brady too.

She makes Gary Cook look like Jesus by comparison.

Also got Bentley in which is a decent acquisition. Thought they done very well to get Demel in from Hamburg, surely he could have got a move to a club in la liga or somewhere?
