The most atm? Taking the regulars from last season and the new signings, which one of the regulars is most in danger in your opinion? I'd say Johnson is a certainty, if you can class him as a regular??? but mainly one of Yaya or Nige. Barry is becoming immense and i just cant see all three fitting together now with our more attacking outlook.

Tevez...Our best player last season imo but the transfer request saga and attitude with Mancini will knock him down a peg on all fronts..Especially now were seeing the real Dzeko.
I reckon the fullbacks Micah, Zabba,Clichy and Kollers will get even game time but in the MF Nige and Gaz Baz will be fighting for the holding role.

He will, I reckon, and will be a big part of the double when we beat Barca ;-)

I'd bring him on in the final when we're 2-0 up and then sub him off for Mancini's son!

Fear for their place is surely a wrong question. At least against Wigan it is.
ALL the players know there are loads of games this season and they cannot ( should not) play in them all.So thinking of the Wigan game for example some might be more than happy to miss that game as long as it means being on the teamsheet for the Napoli game.

But the question wasn't about Wigan, it was about the future this season in general. Surely this clearly implied by the post? You've just wangled your thoughts into the thread!? Of course players will be rested during the season.

The centreforward spot has the most competition. Tevez, Dzeko and Balotelli fighting over the one spot means a loss of form will result in a quick dropping.

Ah, yet another of those 'first 11 and everybody else is fucked' threads! I think there'll be plenty of work for all.

-Any player that loses form.
- Bridge
- Ned
the rest needn't worry. It's all about squad.

All the players will 'lose' their place at some stage this season ... lovely situation to be in

I recon Balotelli has a big few weeks coming up as regards his City future. He'll get a game, maybe even start & if he puts in the kind of effort Dzeko has been doing, he'll suddenly be seen in a different light & a big part of the club. If however, he still performs as if he's doing everyone a favour by being here, I recon thats it; finished. Bob won't let him do his pouting bullshit in the middle of this fantastic attacking unit anymore than Ferguson, Mourinho or Pep would at their clubs. This will be his last chance. So long as the attitude is right, an iffy performance will be tolerated but any bullshit & I doubt we'll see much more of him in a City shirt.

You and I both know there are players who's names are etched in stone on that teamsheet. Silva, Hart, Yaya and Kompany would only ever lose their place due to injury or playing a 3rd game in a week(well not Hart). Certain players are under jeopardy due to the sheer weight of competition. Not saying there won't be games for all, but when the strongest lineup is fit, rested and available there will be some players who will miss out on a game.
Certainly don't see the harm in the thread at the least, was the point I was making in an earlier thread until the fuckwit brigade got ahold of it.

De Jong. Unless he ditches his current agent, he's gone by next summer.
