Don't talk like a cunt. I fuclin hate it when we slag our own off. I'm not making any excuses for our fans cos we've been through some utter site and there's a lotta wounded Blues out there who have been pounded into the ground but I would NEVER ave a go at them that don't or can't go these days. Show some respect. A lot o those lads bleed for City even if they don't go to games.

Fuck off.

If our owners walked away cos we couldn't even get a full house for our 1st CL game, who could blame them after everything they've done to get us there.

Slagging yer own is piss poor. We've had devilworshipping rag scum slagging us every day for donkeys years. Most of us take that on the chin and hold our heads high. We've been a VERY well supported team even when we were in the third division and are probably the envy of many. How many teams would fill their ground every week after winning fucl all for 25 years and being in the 3rd division?

I recon it will be pretty full but the ticket sales system is so lamentably shite that some people will stay at home because of it. I had so much trouble booking tickets online that I almost spewed it; I was fucking furious. I've already heard of people who had the same problem on the phones & decided not to bother. It took me about 45 mins to get the fucking online thing to work but I was adamant I wasn't going to phone in & give the cunts an extra £2.50 a time for doing fuck all. I've never been to a Champon's Lg game but had it not worked that final time, I wouldn't be going now, nor would 2 others who are going with me. God knows how many have decided not to bother because of it.

It's not good enough. Someone wants sacking.

If we can't sell out our first Champions League home game it will be an embarrassment, end of.

So you think there will be empty seats tomorrow night just because people are too lazy to prebook their tickets??

I booked my tickets online a week ago and although many blocks had availability, when I looked into it, there were single seats only dotted around. I managed to buy 3 seats together but there were hardly any 3 seaters left apart from in the gods and they were sparce.

It will be a full house and will be rocking.

Its a school night and MANY people have just got back and had one payday since their summer holidays, we are not all billionairse and some of us have to watch the spend.

Did you mean Knocking out, we are playing Napoli, who love to get into the home supporters end.

Yes it does rather sound like an idea that may be frowned upon to say the least by Greater Manchester Police!

I was at the ground yesterday to buy a ticket for my dad - to get us together I had to relocate to the family stand as there were no '2 together' elsewhere. I asked how many tickets were left and the answer was "....it will be a good crowd but not likely to be a sell-out..."

I do not mean to slag of our fans but I must admit I am disappointed and exasperated that we cannot sell out our 1st ever CL game

It is embarrassing - and does ask questions over our claim for many years to have wonderful support - a factor I am guessing was involved in the Sheik's decision to 'choose us'. My take on it is that through the decades of hurt we have suffered we kept our core support - many on here I am sure were going all the years down to Div1 and back - but it will take us some time to attract the larger support that will go to the ground - not helped because of the ease with which you can watch the match live in the pub or at home.

Supporters will be a different breed to when the scum started to attract full houses - the good news (I hope) is that when we knock the scum off their perch they will start to see the gaps appear and accelerate. CITY are doing the right thing (IMO), although unpopular with some fans, by tying in attendance to the big games to attendance at the preliminary rounds. That is for me why the scum do well - and also why when they stop getting to finals it will change.

On a different note - whilst I was there in the (smallish) queue there was an example of the determination of Napoli fans to but tickets in the home end.

There was a couple of young italians going to great lengths to explain how they should get tickets 'booked / requested' via email a week ago using a card that belongs to a CITY fan with points etc etc - they were refused and but the debate went on all the way though the time I was queuing and they were left debating the position with a manager in a side area by the time I left - this probably explains how some of the ticketing policy of CITY in this regards has been right

Collecting in person suggests the Napoli fans may have navigated the system. Hence the face to face.
