Can someone please write the rulebook on how we are supposed to react to each ref appointment? At the moment we should be that good that one eyed rag lover should ref us and we'd still come away with the 3 points.

Or I could just default to: damn, I don't like him.

I really could honestly never ever care who refs. I've never actually gotten angry or annoyed by a potential referee for a game.

Shrug. It's just not something I look out for. Dunno why.

If we have to rely on a ref's decision to win the game then we don't deserve it.
We're good enough to destroy them.

You have answered your own question here.

But let me put it to you this way, Dazzington. phil dowd has shown City players nine yellow cards in two games, while in the other six games this season put together the ref has seen fit to book just three City players.

It is odd to get any ref three times in so few games but for it to be this one...

If last Saturday's ref had been Peter Walton as usual, then there would have been no fouls given against Everton, let alone bookings, and he would probably have affected the result.

Our record when Fat Boy Dowd is in charge is atrocious;

Won 1, Drawn 5, Lost 8

Having said that, he has booked 19 opposition players in those games but only 3 or ours. He has also sent 3 of our opponents off!

He loves to get his cards out so I can see a Blackburn player getting sent off in this.

Dowd was in charge when we got battered 8-1 at Middlesbrough. It was his fault!!

Yes, I rather think it was. Even if it weren't, I am going to blame the rotund little berk anyway.

Didn't he ref a game a couple of weeks back and give us 3 yellows in a game that was far from dirty?
