Yes it was a very bad substitution on mancini's Part but you do not react like that. It was long ago that he couldn't hit a fucking barn door! Short memory have you edin? Bit of professionalism eh.

Agree that he shouldn't of reacted like that but don't neecesarlly agree it was a bad sub. Its now come to light that Mancini subbed him for De Jong to strengthen the midfield and he was then going to bring Tevez on shortly afterwards. So it wasn't a straightforward defencive move.

We were dead and buried anyway to be honest. But why throw a strop like that in front if the watching world! Makes us look pathetic, have a word with the manager behind closed doors if you aren't happy

Dzeko was shit tonight. The only time he didnt give the ball away was when he got fouled. Tevez should have been on from the start. (Yes I did say that. I'll get me tin hat)

Totally agree with you there. Happens far too often in the game and it seems even moreso at city.

undignified but just one in a long long list of dissenters - trouble is Roberto bought him!

I'm not arsed about Dzeko's reaction. To be honest, I've gotten angry before when subbed. It's natural. It would have died down - just a heat of the moment thing.

This toy throwing has got to be stopped - now.

It has more than a hint of the Tevez "me, me, me" about it, and makes Dzeko look like he wanted to do something magical back in Germany for himself more than wanting City to do well.

Basically, I've had enough of this kind of crap with Tevez tonight, so Dzeko acting the big man on the back of three good (and very overdue) performances sticks in the throat.

What next, Aguero giving Mancini the middle finger? I can almost see it coming.

Pissed off the manager takes you off,I would be everytime.
Pissed off your teams taking a royal bumming off ze Germans,I would be aswell
And I sure as hell wouldn't stand in silence as city take a beating, but he shouldn't aim it at Mancini

He really should have put us one up tonight. In big games, you don't get too many chances so when one comes your way you've gotta stick it in. Or at least do something which doesn't resemble a backpass.

He can have no complaints after the gilt-edged chance early on that he made look like a backpass to Neuer.

edit: BRF's on the same wavelength apparently.

I think we will see Balo from the start on Saturday for Edin. I think he was just pissed off and I kinda of accept that and it’s a good thing that he is pissed off but don’t do it in front of 10 million people, take up with the gaffer in a mature and professional way. In the changing room.

I know that feelings do run high but bloody hell lads not in front of the world’s media who want any excuse to shoot at us.

Completely uncharacterstic for Dzeko. Needs to have a word with himself.

Don't have a problem with Dzeko's reaction.. you see that plenty of times at games to be honest. He shouldn't be happy. And he mostly shouldn't be happy with himself for fluffing the big chance.
Storm in a tea cup stuff made the most of by sky.

For what its worth on the Mancini subbing, he did the same thing subbing a striker for a midfielder and then bringing a striker on directly after that 3 times already this season in games. So already it isn't surprising from Bob.

Agreed; let himself down tonight.
I think the fact that he was back in Germany might have had something to do with it.

Bobby commented this apparently too

Daniel Taylor from the Guardian just tweeted

It won't get as much coverage but Mancini was "furious" with Edin Dzeko too - "he will sit the next game next to me" #MCFC
