I would have torres in a heartbeat. He will come good again.

I'm sure of that as well. BUT, Tevez is really good player and he would improve Chelsea so I'd rather see Tevez outside England in the future.

Proving he has no barometer of the mood in football (or what a nightmare he is), Alan Pardew has stated that he would have no problems working with Tevez again:

""He is absolutely a footballer I would be happy to manage. He is a top, top player."

Easy to say, when you're about as likely to sign Tevez as Lionel Messi.

Still, £15 million to Newcastle, in January? Bigger surprises have happened.

He's starting to show some of his old form now that AVB is setting the team out around him. That alone breeds confidence and that's what Torres was severely lacking.

I'd swap Tevez for Torres tomorrow. But I'd swap Tevez for anyone who's elidgble to play for City tomorrow.

Sadly, after the events of this week, I never want to see Tevez in a city shirt again.

No.

We should set up around aguero, he's better than torres and tevez put together.

If tevez goes then we are fine in the striker department and there is no need for a replacement, we aren't exactly short on goals this year without him are we?.

Strange thread. There is as much chance of Tevez for Pele.

Wouldnt happen in a million years.

Pesonally Id snap Chelsea's hands off as its the best value we'd get, but as Doug says there is as much chance of Tevez for Pele, as there is of this.

Don't agree. Torres at his best is at least equal to Aguero.

Torres has been shite for the best part of two seasons now. Whereas although he's a cunt Tevez has been one of the top 5 in the world in the same period.

I'd prefer cash, as much as we can now get.

I thought Aguero was the replacement for Tevez and that the reason there wasn't more to the Sneijder swap deal was because Bobby preferred Nasri?

If Bobby gets his way the likely replacement for Tevez will be De Rossi or similar, going off his summer interviews. Or maybe the Bayern centre half, Boateng? :)
