He was fucking excellent today and, for me, deserves a separate thread.
If he can repeat that kind of (team) performance consistently and still ally it to his obvious ability to produce individual moments of magic, he might actually become the superstar he himself believes himself to be.

He was putting in the work & not bitching/leaving his foot in. Add to that some exceptional play & he looked as good as it gets for that age.

Yup.
And his goal was a hell of a lot more difficult than he made it look - sign of a great player, so it's said.

I thought he spurned two good chances in the first half, but the second half he was tremendous, can "literally" shoot from anywhere and you just never know with him.

2nd half he was much better.
very surprised to see him control his temper and mood swings today.
also surprised how he celebrated his goal.
3 goals in 3, definitely deserves a starting spot vs. Villa after the break.

Attitude is perfect right now, and its all because of number 16. Great role model for the fella.

He really has been unlucky with that because most of those were outstanding efforts which would be shown over & over again.

Why can't we play him in the central role, that's where he excell's. Played very well today and took his goal well from a great cross.
Enjoyed it thoroughly and think if we played Mario in a central role we would storm the league.

I couldn't understand him playing on the left either, seemed to get caught with the ball too much isolated there.
Nasri is a much better choice or even Silva to run that channel.

'even' Silva??
What an odd choice of expression for The Wizard of the Etihad'!

Silva I prefer to stay more central as he is more effective as a puppeteer, but he can still create from there where I feel Balo can't.

If it's the case, Mario central, Silva behind, Nasri and AJ left or right. It's quie obvious with our quality.
