I think its fair to say we have kicked the doors off the "big 4's" private club. Liverpool slipped out 2 years ago and Arsenal have been informed that their time is almost up.

The best thing about our stuffing of Blackburn yesterday was that it pissed all over the press's "City in Crisis" chips. Knobs like Mark Ogden of The Telegraph and Custis in The Sun will have been left with fucl all to say.

Two fairest reporters on us are Henry Winter who wrote a good piece yesterday, and Daniel Taylor. The rest of them will be eating a nice big shit sandwich this morning.

haha.

They coined the "big five" when we got 5th the season before last, funny how Spurs who finished 4th weren't in it. Just pick which ever out of Arsenal and Liverpool finish lowest and it's the "big X"(X being their finishing position minus 1 for Spurs apparently).

I think there are only 3 teams certain to win a spot in the top four now, so you could say it's a big 3, with another 3 who will no doubt fight over that last spot. I am finding it slightly disappointing that after we were labasted for having players who "deserved" to be playing champions league when we weren't in it, that Liverpool who are now two years without Champions League football are not having their players questioned over why they haven't left yet. Reina, Gerrard, Suarez should all be looking for alternate employment surely. Where is the Sunday Supplement's roasting of the scouse filth?

I think the original big 5 appeared the season after we were in it, back in the Peter Reid type days. They waited til we were shit, then invented a 'big 5' who controlled everything, without us.

All the journo's are shit imo. People generally only like the ones that say nice stuff about us, then when they eventually write something they don't like and they are a tosser again. Big 3,4, 5 or 6 means nowt. Winning the league being the big one is what it's about

I think Henry Winter & Martin Samuel are pretty good in general. It's probably because they are good at their jobs that they treat us fairly rather than being complete cunts like most of the others.

Us, United and Chelsea will almost certainly occupy the top 3 places. Liverpool and Spurs will battle for fourth with Arsenal 6th/7th.

I can't say I am an expert at the Manchester geography, but I mean if Scum are technically from Manchester, couldn't Wigan and Bolton technically be a Manchester club as well?

The 'Big Four' phrase will not be used again unless the previous 'Big Four' get back to their rightful place back in the 'Big Four'. The 'Big Four' are not whoever's there, they are a hand-picked few that have the right to be called 'The Big Four', we aren't allowed in.

The "Sky Four" is a more apt name these days.

To digress a little, this reminded me of a comment I saw written on a toilet wall at Leeds University, donkey's years ago.

It read; "Life is like a shit sandwich, the more bread you have, the less shit you taste".

However, as stated above, I digress........

I think the term used today in commentary of the Chelsea game was something like "the awesome pace set by the two Manchester giants". I have to admit I liked it
