Ticket Office (again)

My mate used my ticket when I was away for the Everton game. He used to go to all the home games when we were in the 3rd division but found it harder to get in as the various part timers came back, so he became a part timer himself.

Anyhow, he enjoyed it so much he felt the addiction coming back so he & some other lapsed 3rd div goers he tempted, decided to try & go to the Villa game, ( he was given the job of sorting out the tickets) Well he can't fucking register as they say he's already on the books. He hasn't got any details of it & can't remember when or where or numbers passwords etc. No offer of help was forthcoming so he was getting fed up toiling with it & was reaching the stage of spewing it once more. Perhaps he'll forget it & the others won't bother for another decade or so; who knows ?

Why do we employ people to stop City fans from going to City games ?

You should definitely email someone at the club about that. They'll sort you all out, i'm sure. The email addresses tend to be firstname.secondname@mcfc.co.uk

Nah I'm not getting involved, I had a similar fucking nightmare registering some Norwegian mates a few years back & vowed I'm never going through it again.

I often say that no other business that had enjoyed your custom for thirty years plus would treat you as disgracefully as our ticket office does.
You wouldn't put up with it from anybody else.

I went a fair time without troubling my dormant membership, but then resurrected it as I had kept my supporter number (phew!). Then there was later a period when I had to request a reset password every single time I logged in. Touch wood it seems to have settled down now.

In any case I'm sure the lazy arse on the other end of the phone could find him by postcode and/or name and dob.

I just thought I'd give people an opportunity to join me in a good moan.

All the improvements made to everything at the club & yet it's still like trying to join the fucking freemasons if you want to buy a ticket. If we want to expand quickly, we really need to sort the whole thing out.

Trying to log on the site, trying to buy tickets for Newcastle next week (anyone know if it's sold out?) it won't let me log on the ticket buying screen ( let's me on the main page).
Anyone else having problems?

I find that if you ring up and moan and see what they say you end up getting what you want eventually.

This has got me tickets to derbies when I didn't have enough points.
My sons first season card a few seasons ago during renewels, before they went on general sale.
2 free tickets to the FA cup final.

They are clowns and as long as you play he said she said with them you usually get what you want.

One that has worked for me more than once is asking for a manager and then talking about how good city used to be towards the fans when we were shit and now we have won a few trophies the club just treat us like shit and comparing them to the rags always gets you somewhere aswell.

Just have to play the game.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying here. Are you saying that he couldn't get in when he mixed up the tickets, asked for help but couldn't answer the questions asked?

If so, my son had a problem with his for a CL game and when I spoke with the blokes with the machines they sorted it out with little fuss, even though I couldn't remember his password details.

Was it more than just a missed password or was your friend a little off with the Blue-coats?
