I hope he makes a better Chairman than manager.
He will probably bring in Lee Bradbury as Player/Manager.
One of the worst City managers ever !!!!!

Forest fans probably just breathed a sigh of relief having just got rid of McClaren, now this. Poor sods. Just think; a few years ago, that was us.

Always remember when we sacked him....it was after another defeat and when asked why we lost he said " I just dont know".
Clueless.

It DOES remind us some years back doesn't it. One bag of shite goes out and in comes someone who is even worse.
I feel sorry for Forest supporters. I really do.

Anyone else remember Frank Sidebottom's Manchester City medley, which had the classic line (to the tune of Flash Gordon) - "Frank Claaaaarrrrrrrk - saviour of the universe." Oh dear.
Forest are stuck in the mire at the moment. The best thing Frank could do is to beg his old mate Martin O'Neill to come in and right the ship, as Im sure Martin still has great affection for the club.

How is he thought of over there? He did quite well with them, I seem to remember, with the remnants of Clough's squad plus Stan Collymore.

Clark will probably do quite a decent job for Forest I reckon, he had all the Chairman attributes .... as a manager

"Never felt more like singin' the blues, 'cause under Frank Clark we never loose..." yep we I remember that one echoing round Maine Road. He got off to a fantatsic start and for a while we looked like we might have made the play-offs. I don't know what went wrong the following season and I don't think he did either, it was quite clear by Chritsmas that he'd tried everything he knew and nothing worked. I think there was something rotten at the club around that time that undermined everything, I think that's what he meant when started rambling about fifth columists.

He watched us as the soon to be named manager we were 0-4 at Barnsley, Boxing Day ? 35 mins or so gone. A mate of mine KK, asked a steward if he would let us out, this was 5 mins before half time, 2,000 CITY FANS WAITING TO DO ONE The steward asked why ? KK quick as a flash.
We are 4 nil down and Frank Fucking Clarke is taking over! do I need to go on, now open the fucking gate. Classic away match at a time when laughing at ourselfs was an away day given. Fuck me we were bad, Barnsley fans on the way to the Premier.

I think he meant wingers & people with pace, as he got rid of as many as he possibly could.
I witnessed Frank's brilliant performance on the training ground at Platt Lane once. City had organised a trial game with two teams, one containing young City players & 5 Argentinian lads, the other; a Stoke team with various possibly available players. I was stood watching the game, no sign of Frank....still no sign of Frank...suddenly...at last...IT'S FRANK!! Stands next to me for a couple of minutes, has a laugh with his mate & fucks off back to his office. Obviously he saw Brian Clough being enigmatic & not turning up for training etc etc & thought that was how you do it, apart from he isn't quite Brian Clough; more Clement Freud.
Starring in that game was one Danny Tiatto, signed by City well after Frank had fucked off for the last time.
