What was that all about in the first half??

From my position in Level 3 just above where it kicked off it looked like over zealous stewarding of a fan refusing to sit down.

I was told by a mate that a steward punched a City fan (also a mate).

It was Bingo, he lost his head.

A 60 yrs old man (with a heart condition who told the stewards) was asked to sit down. He would not as 4,000 other fans were stood up. 4 wank sec stewards man handled him to the end of his row where he collapsed. City fans than twated (quite rightly THE WANK SEC STEWARDS. it then proceeded to kick off. This has made the feeling very bad between us and wank sec. Paramedics sorted him out before he was kicked out at half time. What a waste of time as nobody sat down. Nobody will sit down and this will bring more media shit. WELL DONE CITY. I bet the sheik is really proud of who he employs. They are totally out of their depth in that corner and are incredible cowards who NEVER try it on with some who looks like they can handle themselves.

What message do City want to send out. They move fans for villareal to create and atmosphere... By who? Fans that stand up. These wank sec cretins want sacking they are little hitlers with an amoeba for a brain.

Has anybody got Vicky Kloss` email I want to send her a clean version of these events and my feelings on the situation in 110 they have now caused. The sheik will be proud.

I was in 110, Row C last season. I would not have renewed by SC if I had to be in there again. Almost every match was marred by the stewards.

I hope preople keep twatting them, if they behave like that. They would only get away with it in this country. Anywhere else, they'd have thousands threatening to kick their fucking heads in.

I've always had a certain amount of sympathy for the stewards. They are just doing their job and the decision regarding fans standing/sitting isn't made by them so why take it out on them?

Having said that, if the above is an accurate account of what happened then I am not surprised that some people have started to lash out at them! Some of them are decent people who you have have a laugh and a chat with, but others would give Middlesbrough Police a run for their money when it comes to turning a calm situation into volatile one.

Showsec can get fucked, if you are here, be the fuck behaved or get it, simples. Seen this on a phone camera and they are in bother IMO, plus some deserve a slap anyway.
I can now understand the commotion but this standing sitting argument will be solved by us, showsec be told.

Well, that was.........inconclusive.

The video I saw was conclusive, showsec launching punches, hope they don't do it again. Not really, hope they try it on again, a line was crossed today and it's them who will suffer. Common savvy is all that is required.
Shame life is so one sided.

It is quite accurate. There was also a young girls in the middle of it all. They handled it ALL wrong, went too far and then started fighting with people who wouldn't be bullied.

Massive dickheads and the fact they fucked off after the incident and didn't come back shows they know they were wrong.

The stewards are shit, last season I got punched and after the stewards who said they saw it happen threw me out instead cos they couldnt be arsed, this season I sit in 111 and I sold my ticket for the Birmingham cup game and the I sold it to guy got it took off him and I don't know why, he says the stewards were in the wrong and the club say the stewards were right, I still haven't got my season ticket back yet because the club(peter fletcher) is now dragging its feet and not replying to my letters

That could easily have started a riot. How can that possibly be the best way to deal with that situation ? And the police helping it all escalate rather than putting a stop to it. If the bloke had been throwing half bricks at Villa fans, you could understand it, but to go that far, apparently just because he'd been stood up, in a fucking area full of people standing up!!

The stewards want fucking sacking, the police want reprimanding & that little Hitler faced steward wants it kicking in.

This disgusts me. If they want to enforce the rule they have eject the whole stand. Picking on the elderly and infirm is pathetic. Hopefully the chap was ok. They would know all about It if he had an infarct and died! it will get out of hand and someone will get seriously hurt.
Thing is the police should know better, that Yankee steward comes hoping over the chair to get a grip of him....police should be telling him to chill the fuck out. But no they just look the other way. That steward may watch himself comes someone will end up thumping him when he is not looking and a riot will break out.
