With training and an under 18's game clashing I decided to ring the boss up to see if they would start early so I could do both. Not a problem was the answer so I went along early today just before 10.30 and they were already in the game that finishes the session.

No doubt planned early today as it's an early start tomorrow. I think everyone on show as expected in a 10 a side game and the first action I saw was Mario rolling around after a tackle. It was one for the cameras as he did a couple of extra forward rolls for the camera( only one at this early start) and then got up with a big smile. The first close call on goal was an AJ cross to Zaba but he couldnt repeat yesterday's brilliant finish and scuffed the shot.

Closely followed by a superb last ditch tackle on Silva to prevent a goal.At the other end Aguero looked like he was fouled just inside the penalty area but nothing from the ref.I hope we get better decisions tomorrow. Then a moment of pure class as Mario ,using the defender in front of him, gently side footed into the corner of the net from about 10 yards. It had Platt and Mancini smiling to each other.

A few more contentious decisions followed from the ref and Mancini had to remind some players there is only one ref.Kolarov tried an overhead which I think is still in orbit somewhere. Pablo missed another great chance to emulate yesterday before Mario laid one into the path of Yaya who hammered it low into the corner and that was about that!

Short and sweet for me and probably an hours worth for the players.Kolarov and Milner stayed out for a bit of shooting practice but I shot off to Platt Lane where there wasnt a match anyway :) I really must check my details before going out but I am sure a game was on the schedule when I checked yesterday.

I wonder if they let the fouls go so much in order to season the lads for getting use to not getting big decisions go our way, thus they dont make such a big deal out of them on the pitch, and just get on with it.....

don't know if he will start, just as I don't know if the firework story about him is true either.

Ooooooooo, Balotelli, he's a striker, good at darts,
Has an allergy to grass but when he plays he's fucking class,
Sets his bath on fire with a firework out of his arse.

Oooooooo, Balotelli....................................
