Why Always Me?

Balotelli is once again a genius and idiot at the same time.

The undershirt saying "Why Always Me?" is absolutely a stroke of genius. Mario or whomever advises him is a marketing genius. Between things like that, his turkey hat, his warming up in the "I Love MCR" shirt and adding the word City to it, and even passing out money to homeless people is just priceless. Let's not even add to tall the shenanigans he carries out with darts and pyrotechnics, any publicity is good publicity.

Where he is an idiot is that he doesn't go out and copywrite this stuff. How much money could have made if he had trademarked 'Why Always Me?" He should at least get a cut from the City shop.

To answer the question KK asked in another thread, he is clearly the current/next City legend. Love him or hate him, he is a total entertainer.

He's growing on me quickly.

And I HAD thought he might be just a circus clown until he (apparently) managed to learn to put the team first.

Don't kid yourself Kladze, he is a circus clown, and I am happy that he is. Think how boring Dzeko is in comparison? Look if Rooney weren't out granny shagging he would be boring. Mario is far from boring.

Let me put it another way then : The supersized 'clown feet' are pointing in the same direction as everyone else's at the moment :-)

Just come out and say its your site. Thats your 1st post and you just happen to find a site selling shirts? Fair play for seizing the opportunity, but a bit more honesty and transparency would help you a lot. For example, at least have a picture of the shirt that you're selling on the site (not on Mario) so it doesn't look like a complete scam

Rather hoping that "the lads" block "SLR's" account and that nobody entertains buying that shirt from that site, unless SLR can be proven a real blue? We appear to be picking a few bandwagoners commrecialy?

I love the thought of someone actually talking like that in everyday conversation. He had me blagged that his post was kosher until I saw the URL.

SLR isn't even on the ball - by about 9pm on Sunday I checked on ebay and there were loads of people selling them.

I'd rather wait for an official t-shirt. There's a good chance some charity might benefit from it.

As for the op. Mario is not a clown , he is eccentric of course, but that word is perhaps more complimentary.

It would be quite ridiculous to try and copyright something as spontanious as that t-shirt episode. It only works because of the sublime finishing and the way mario has picked up yellow cards from poor refs. It was pathetic that Clattenberg gave him a yellow for it.

What's the letter of the law here? I know that if you take your shirt off it's a yellow - but what was it for in this case? I'm sure players pull shirts over their heads in celebration all the time and avoid bookings.

Reading that, Mario didn't break any rules.

In fact, the referee broke the rules by failing to use common sense!
