Build-up to City-Wolves

Postby Mark Garrett » Thu Oct 27, 2011 10:58 pm

Another Saturday afternoon 3pm Kick-off at Eastlands, wonders will never cease. It's another important game and hopefully we can continue our fine run of form.

After Tevez's latest poor behaviour this week - the manner in which he and his entourage continue to conduct themselves - it is as important as ever that we continue to get right behind our team and our manager, Roberto Mancini. The man should be given a knighthood and walks on water for me. Really hope the Mancini song is sung in the first couple of mins as loud and proud as it has been all season but especially when we were at Blackburn and then home to Villa when we went 3-0 up.

Also this is the chance to welcome home the heroes of Old Trafford - they have etched themselves into Manchester derby history. It's a sell-out so Eastlands should be bouncing.

What are people's thoughts about the team?

Same as last Sunday for me. Maybe Johnson in and rest Barry, playing Milner in centre midfield would be only possible change.

For me:

-----------------------Hart

Richards---Kompany----Lescott---Clichy

----------Yaya Toure---Barry

Milner-------------Balotelli--------Silva

--------------------Aguero

After the last two results, the City of old would have lost this one.

I didn't realise we had won it already then!

I could see some changes tbh with the Villareal game in mind, not much mind. Bob may just bring some off around the 60 mark instead.

Does anyone think we'll rest Silva and have Nasri in the lineup?
With maybe,

Wolves were a credit to themselves on Weds, they never gave up. Pretty sure they played a weak team too.

This won't be a push over, full first choice team needs to be out. I think Milner is fast becoming a starter for us, been really impressed with him.

I've given up trying to second guess selections this year. i would say though that if there is one player that seems to be able to play in most games it seems to be Silva. He will have to start resting him towards or after mid season though surely.
