In terms of the 2.00 pts we have to bear in mind the first half season he was really learning about the prem and oppositions.
Last season we were struggling to return over 1.86 and only managed it right at the end of the season. So obviously now the results are boosting up his average. Will be interesting how it pans out at the end of the season.

Also would I be correct in thinking apart from Sven he is the only one in that list who had no experience of the English League?

I don't think Peter Reid had managed at all before taking charge at City?

Although you need to do two separate list for top division, and lower divisions

The pts are recalculated to 3pts a win aren't they.

he needs to up his game as an average of 2pt per game will not win us the league.

last season since 01 Jan pld 30 w 18 d 6 pts 60 ppg 2.0

Basically a steady improvement after his first 12 months in charge. Second half of last season he just got an average of 2.0

PL 2.8 pts per game this season.

If he keeps that up we'll have the best season since Sky invented football.

I have sneeky feeling we will be revisiting this thread later in the season.
