On the train to loftus road, managed to blag a couple of corporate tickets for this, no colours allowed so I have my City cufflinks on ;-) Last time I was at Loftus rd, SWP scored for us, hope he doesn't tonight!! Having watched them hang on against 9 man Chelski I am confident of a win tonight :-) it would make my night if Joey managed to get sent off it has been a while

I hope Yaya has more than a pure sitting role. Yaya and Barry lack the pace over short distances but realistically if we play well we win.

So, yet another win needed because a Premier League team compliantly folds at Old Trafford against a frankly ordinary United. Such is City's job this season - we need not only to rack up the goals and the points for ourselves, but keep in mind that certain teams don't even try when they play United.

With this lineup, I think if we play well it'll be 3 or 4-0. Really happy for Micah to get the armband too

Glad Silva is starting.
I actually thought AJ would play over Milner today after Milner played in the CL. Everything else I expected.

Cool for Micah..wonder if he's now the permanent 3rd choice instead of Barry behind VK and NDJ

If AJ would sort out his mardy arse face it would probably help his chances. Great though his cameos and goals have been, there is a certain attitude he has that I think Mancini has just about had enough off. In my opinion, AJ is on thin ice come next summer.

That's almost our strongest eleven right now, and it's good to see Mancini resisting the urge to tinker. It looks like he is prioritising the PL, and trying to make hay while the sun shines. You never know when you might lose a star player to injury or suspension, so putting out the team most likely to get you three points on the day is good management.

If anyone has any private information about any fast moving bodies of water currently gushing away from the Shepherd's Bush area of London, I would be most pleased.
