This weeks itinery

The display tonight was a little lacklustre for me. Didn't win a lot of second balls defenders were bullied by some of the QPR forwards & didn't move the ball around like we have been doing. Far be it from me to know better, but I think the travel this week was the first time we have done the double without coming home.

I think it went something like Tuesday fly to Spain, hotel Tues/Wed. Thursday am fly to England, hotel in Hertfordfshire Thursday night. Friday am train & then move to hotel central London for Friday night stay & Saturday evening game before coming home. Seems a lot of disruption to me which may have contributed to our play.

Just a thought & we won so what do I know

It is disruptive, possibly a lot. All i can say is they better get used to it, and if they do they will be stronger for it. Seems to me this team likes a bit of a challenge ;)

But surely that's just the way it is for any team playing away in Europe. Can't see how the schedule could have been managed better.

Would flying back to manchester and having a day at home have improved things? Doubt it. Mancini made changes where he thought he needed to and could afford to and we got home albeit only just. That'll do for me.
