Leighton Baines and Glen Johnson ahead of him is a complete joke. edit: Actually almost every defender on that list ahead of Micah is a joke. Capello must have a grudge or just be thick

Jones in ahead if him is as bad - wasn't jones one of the world class defenders that shipped 6 this season. Isn't Micah one of the defenders in an undefeated side? Beggars belief

Anyone actually surprised? Everyone knows that Richards wont be in the England squad until Capello leaves and he should come to terms with it

How many games has Johnson played for the Dippers this season? It's got to be a grudge thing 'cos I'm sure Capello was at the game yesterday and although he didn't play that well he was far better than Adam when he came on.
Looking at that squad it looks like he doesn't actually pick the side but more leaves it for the media to decide who's in it. When was the last time we had a manager who had a back-bone, was it Sir Bobby?
Edit: Still no room for Defoe?

Did he do really bad for England under Capello before or is there any other reason? Because he must have had one of the worst games for an England defender ever to keep being ignored!
(or maybe Capello is just a shit national manager, unable to pick or motivate the England team at all)

Hopefully this will spur him on to play even better.
Capello is an idiot - Richards can get better this season, and if he's still not picking him now, he almost certainly won't be thinking of taking him to the Euros.
It's a likely scenario come the end of the season that he will be viewed as the best right back in England (including foreign players) by everyone, but he still won't be picked.

FFS what a joke, Capello picks Terry but leaves out Richards. If i was Micah i would tell Capello to fuck off, what the hell does he have to do to get in the squad.

He deserves to be in ahead of Johnson. Still from a completely selfish point of view it's 2 weeks off and 1 less player to worry about coming back injured.

I've never wanted England to lose a game but I actually hope Silva fucking destroys us and that Postman Pat cunt gets sacked. Pleased that he won't get injured but absolutely gutted for Micah.

Johnson yes, but Baines is a left back and a very good one at that.

Johnson - played 279 minutes of football - won 1, drawn 2, lost 1. Team currently sitting in 6th on 19 points.
Richards - played 992 minutes of football - won 9, drawn 1, lost 1. Team currently sitting in 1st on 31 points, 5 clear of 2nd.
Without seeing them play and just looking at stats you'd have to go for Micah so the only reason I can see why Capello picked Johnson was that he pairs up wih Downing whereas the 20 minutes that Micah and AJ played against QPR didn't look so good.
Grasping at straws, but I always try to find the reasoning behind things. Sometimes though, there's just none!
Keep your chin up Micah, you're proving to be the best around and if a manager can stick 2 Rag players on the pitch before you then you know it's not about ability.

I think he needs to make a few racist comments and shag a team mates partner before crapello will respect him or maybe get sent off more and swear to the sky camera or shag a granny something like that because his performances don't seem to be getting him noticed
