Manchester City have fined defender Kolo Toure £360,000 as punishment for a failed drugs test.
The FA banned Toure for six months for using a specified substance after he took one of his wife's slimming tablets.
However, City have chosen not to strip away the player's image rights which could have cost the player up to £1.5m.
The fine is thought to be three weeks' wages.

he's a lucky boy, if it was down to me it would have been at least 50% of his wages. After all its because he's so bloody thick that he failed and was not able to play for that amount of time.

I hope he sees this as lenient, he broke the rules and left us carrying the cost of his wages

oddly, we're only doing this because of that thick cunt Tevez. If he hadn't had his little strop Kolo would be free and clear....
I think the Bros Toure should exact their pound of flesh from Tevez and demand that he pay Kolo's fine. Seems fair.
cheers

At this rate, with all this income from fines, we'll be conforming to FFP requirements more quickly and easily than we thought.

Because there's precedent for drugs offences.
