He is a doubt for both Argentina's games after pulling up with a groin problem in training.

it sounds like a recurrence of the injury he got at Balckburn on 1st October. he was back from that on 18th Against Villareal, so hopefully he won't miss too many

Yeah hopefully nothing serious and the same for Vinnie. How come they set foot outside Carrington and pick up niggles?

A factor may be that some countries dont warm up the players as professionally as at PL club level

This is why we still need a replacement of some kind for Herman in Jan. A couple of injuries added to 3 games per week & suddenly things start to look very different. Same goes for the CB position.

Was thinking this this morning. All the 'we dont need another striker' club will surely be revising their membership.

The African cup of Nations is historically every 2 years but they are changing the sequence, (someting to do with WC!). Instead of having it this year then again in 3 years, it will be this year
and next year then every 2 years!

The Napoli game looms large on the horizon for us, and Aguero being injured is a big blow and when you add it to Nasri's knee its a pain in the arse, with the mountain of games we have coming up.

To be fair, South America is already doing their World Cup Qualifiers.

We've got a large enough squad to deal with it. Not overly concerned.

Is it a groin injury or a "groin injury"?

I think it's a groin injury.

that makes no sense whatsoever.
