Clueless, repetitive, under-researched, under-qualified, uninteresting, annoying turd, the only thing in football he is fit for is an advert for half time pies. I'd rather watch Susan Boyle take a shower than view that fat waste of oxygen. I despise ITV coverage at the best of times and he is by far the worst thing about it, I hate not being able to watch the highlights and replays because of him.

It makes me feel physically sick to think he is getting a million a year to talk so much fucking shite, I mute the TV and put GMR on when I can but it doesnt stop me wanting to throw my foot through my screen everytime I see his fucking annoying face, I wish ITV would bin him off like his wife did.

I will no longer be watching ITV for anything, and if City are on ITV and I cannot go I will now find a foreign stream.

The thing that irritates me the most about him, are the frequent pauses and "erm...umm"'s in every sentance. Not to mention the lack of volume control with his voice - most of the time he's whispering then he suddenly gets LOUDER for no reason.

In fairness lof.com is pretty great quality now, and the match commentators are also poor and ITV is all bollocks, I cannot think of one thing worth watching on that channel anymore.

Nothing wrong with the odd quality rant.

Chiles is a wanker and is part of the reason I don't watch the pre-match, half-time or post-match on ITV (the others being Gareth Southgate, the devil known as R*y K*ane or whoever else they decide to wheel out).

However, the commentary is by FAR the worst thing about the coverage. Jim 'I played for Liverpool once' Beglin, that annoying toff on the sidelines with the tight mouth which looks like a cat's arsehole (Gabriel Clarke or something I think) and that utter fucking turd Tyldesley.

Crowbarring in as many references to the scum as he can, talking while simultaneously gobbling baconfaces rancid cock and as for the way he insists on trying to sound clever by over pronouncing foreigners names. Get. To. Fuck. He used to pronounce Cruyff as Crife. There's a fucking turn named after him called the Cruyff turn, not fucking Crife you complete minge flap.

He was trying to do it today with the Spanish players but then kept calling Iniesta, ANDERS Iniesta. Fucking Anders. One of the top 5 players in the world and he doesn't know his first name, unless he happens to have Swedish parents that no-one knows about.

not keen on chiles myself but if you mute the tv and listen to radio commentary
you will know theyve scored on the radio, before it actually happens on tv
there is a delay and the radio always gets it first.
the reason i know that is i smoke in the kitchen which is a fair way from the tv
so put it on so i miss nothing.

Some of ITV's commentators/pundits aren't the worst though. Peter Drury for example is probably the most pro-City (before and after the takeover) commentator in the media. Matt Smith who does a lot of the UEFA Cup games on ITV4 is good too, and I don't mind Andy Townsend.

I used to quite like watching Chiles on MoTD2. I've not really seen that much of him on ITV thanks to Sky+ but he certainly doesn't offend me as much as having Roy Keane as a guest for our Champions League match
