Deary, deary deary fucking me.
How much longer can this cunt stay in a fucking job ?
Racism? It can all be forgotten in a handshake, says Blatter (the head of world football)
Sepp Blatter has threatened to cause a fresh storm after claiming any racist abuse between players on the pitch should be settled by a handshake.
The Football Association are currently dealing with two incidents where a player has been accused of racially abusing an opponent - Chelsea's John Terry and Liverpool's Luis Suarez, both of whom deny any wrongdoing, are still waiting for the outcome of FA investigations.
Blatter's insistence that there is no racism on the field of play is bound to prove controversial - as well as his suggested solution.
Asked if he thought there was racism on the pitch, the FIFA president told CNN World Sport: 'I would deny it. There is no racism, there is maybe one of the players towards another, he has a word or a gesture which is not the correct one, but also the one who is affected by that.
'He should say that this is a game. We are in a game, and at the end of the game, we shake hands, and this can happen, because we have worked so hard against racism and discrimination.
'I think the whole world is aware of the efforts we are making against racism and discrimination. And on the field of play sometimes you say something that is not very correct, but then at the end of the game, the game is over and you have the next game where you can behave better.'
Blatter also admitted there are problems over the preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, with personal clashes between Brazil president Dilma Rousseff and Ricardo Teixeira, the head of Brazilian football.
Blatter added: 'The World Cup in Brazil must be a great success. There are some problems on different levels. Governmental guarantees... have to pass by decree to the congress or to parliament and this has not yet been done.
'And then there's another problem, it's a personal problem obviously between the president of the country and the president of football.'
Is anybody in that pathetic fucking organisation going to actually say anything about this wanker being unfit to occupy such a position?

He has surely fucked up one too many times with this.
Some of the things he's said in the past (women's football comments etc) have been laughed off but surely this is such a hot topic that he can't be allowed to get away with it. The FA and other organisations in World football need to speak out about this twat and make him stand down.
Don't hold out much hope though.

As stupid as his comments are, there are some who would agree with him including black footballers like Paul Ince who said something similar. I've picked up several comments by ex pro's and media types stressing the same thing.

Most of the people who agree with it are fucking idiots or racists themselves. If players can get away with racist insults during a game of football, why not the fans ? It's the same ridiculous thinking that somehow all laws go out of the window once a referee blows his whistle. It's bullshit & if Paul Ince did say that, he should be ashamed of himself.

He can't even claim to have been mis-quoted or interpreted as he gave two interviews in English and same the same thing twice. If he's just said that he didn't believe there was racism in football you may think he should go for his naivety but to say that when it happens in a game it's ok is unbelievable. I presume fans are now ok throwing bananas etc as long as it's done during the game and not outside?

It's ok, according to a statement released it's all a big misunderstanding. Move along, nothing to see here.

Misunderstanding twice. Not like he got confused and said it by mistake unless he got confused twice.

Don't panic. Everything's ok again. There's a picture of him hugging a black man on the FIFA website so he can't condone racism.

The way so many people in the political side of the game, when interviewed, are dodging around actually calling for the cunt to step down, just shows how they are more concerned with protecting their own position in the heirachy than tackling the issue itself head on. However strongly they feel, they're still wary of making powerful enemies & hampering their climb up the political ladder.

Even one of the Ambassadors for the 'Kick it Out' racism campaign was interviewed on Sky Sports and was near enough defending the cunt.
Farcical.

Some of his best servants are black, so that proves he's ok.

Blatter has been a complete buffoon for years but no-ones had the bottle to stand up to him, so why are we all surprised at this latest burst of bollocks from him?
He may finally meet some opposition here though, as in this ridiculous statement he has gone into the racism issue with his feet in his mush which always leads to all hell breaking loose. Garth Crooks as usual has piled in on a hair trigger, and though I absolutely deplore Blatter's viewpoint, I am just amazed at the shock that he has come out with more bollocks - he's always been full of piss and wind, and the biggest problem is that he is answerable to nobody. Until the football world as a whole grows a pair and stands up to this cretin, he will remain king of his own little empire.

This.
I do not remember his amount of outrage when he suggested gay people should pretend not to be gay for the Qatar World Cup which was every bit as outrageous. Or when he suggested womens footballers should wear tighter shorts. Sexism, Homophobia, Racism. Why get all upset over just one of these issues?
The mans a moron but he always has been and the same English FA and Media who are jumping on their hats with outrage this evening should remember how they slammed the BBC for highlighting this very issue before the 2018 announcement.
The current England captain is up on racism charges but still plays for his country. He's innocent until proven guilty of course.

I dinosaur of a man who obviously believes if you sweep things under the carpet then it won't trip you up later.
As usual, whenever he makes these comments (womens football, homosexuals in Qatar), he'll put another spin on it and get his PR crew to turn it into a positive. How this idiot stays in control of World football is unfathomable but yet again those who beg for his mercy will keep him. I wonder why that is?
