With the kettler on his way out in January and us in need of an extra striker for the long haul. Who would you lot consider a fair swap? That Gomez lad would be ideal for me but it ain't gonna happen. Torres? Villa? Chris Sutton?

Lavezzi...I think he gives us a bit of the ball carrying beast through defences that Tevez did. Dzeko, Aguero and Balotelli are all great to have as all are such different players. I think Lavezzi too offers something extra

For style of play, maybe suarez. Not as good obviously and also a complete cunt. But probably as close as you'd get.

Gomez is a lot like dzeko imo.

I'd go for cavani.

Im not sure we need a replacement of the calibre of Gomez or Lavezzi.

We need someone who will be content to play a bit part. An up and coming youngster or someone at the other end of their career with a decent track record.

Eto'o would have been ideal.

Shame that swap never happened.

Id go cock out for Lavezzi,I was very impressed with him or try our hand for Villa again although it has been heard he's a fanny that doesn't like cold weather.

Find that hard to believe seeing as he's from Asturias. Which isn't that brilliant weather-wise, especially for Spanish standards

Anyway, don't need another superstar. As said earlier, we need someone willing to play a bit part role. A bit like Larsson for scum and Barca. What about a certain mister Del Piero?

Cavani, although is almost impossible. The logical version will be a swap with Lavezzi, but who knows what disciplinary problems has this fellow and beside that, Napoli will collect almost 30-40 mil after their UCL participations so i don't know if they will be interested in a swap.
My money will be on Inter, a swap maybe with Sneijder who is clearly unsettled.

You're spot on mate, we don't have room for another worldclass striker. We need someone who will be content with playing a bit part role. An oldie or a young player with massive potential(a bit like lukaku's situation at chelsea), Junior Hoilett wouldnt be a bad shout, i cant think of many golden oldies off top of my head. Maybe a loan move for landon donovan as a temporary measure although hes not the out and out striker we need, hows klose getting on at lazio?
