Burnley v Leeds

Just been watching, at various times tonight, the Burnley v Leeds game played earlier today.

Ben Mee didn't feature for Burnley, but Trippier was in the team and Adam Clayton now seems to be a regular starter for Leeds.

Trippier didn't play too badly and set up Burnley's goal with a nice angled cross from the right. Adam Clayton was steady enough but without pulling up any trees.

For me though, the interesting player was/is Alex McCarthy, the new Leed's goalkeeper, currently on loan from Reading. I thought he looked pretty competent throughout and made one or two excellent saves at times. He's only 21 or 22, English and pretty tall (he must be about 6'5") and he looks as though he might have the potential to develop further into a really good 'keeper.

I just wonder if anyone else has watched the game, or already noticed him and, since we're always talking about the need for a really good back-up for Joe, would/could he be a possible contender ??
