I was one who thought he could have been top top class for us but watching him recently he's looked more and more like a nightmare of a centre half.maybe he's still young or needs more time in this league but I can see him getting bombed out of Chelsea if he keeps his current form up.

Ancelotti got frustrated with him, and I think AVB is probably pulling his own hair out right now too.

That moment towards the end of the first half where he tried to dribble the ball when surrounded by red shirts instead of clearing it and then conceded a free kick sums up his season so far really

Did you see Mikel, god i hope he plays against us........Luis is one of the rashest players i have seen, really impatient and seems a real thicko footballer. He is there to defend not ponce about. Im happy we didnt get him on his current form.

On the other hand Sis, if we had signed him, he would have been subjected to Bobby Manc's 'methods' and influence and we could be seeing a totally different footballer today.
It's significant though that there have been a number of suggestions of late, in the media, that his best position might be out of the back four and playing Big Nigel's role. I suppose that's just a journalistic euphemism for saying that he's rubbish.

I was terrified we'd sign him & drop Lescott. There were big rumours we were after him. As I've said before though; imo he could be worth fortunes as a midfield player if they were to convert him. Just get rid of that pile of shite Mikel (have rags landed on their feet again there or what ?) and sit Luiz in front of Terry & A.N. other. That would be a really tough centre to break through & have a great counter attacking threat.
Knowing our luck, Hiddink will take over next week & implement it in time for our visit.

Yeah i agree with that. I was watching the game and thinking the same of Torres. He looks a shell of the player he was 18 months ago and i was thinking would Bobby M be able to get him back to where he was when he was one of the best forwards in world football?? AVB does not fancy him at all it seems.

Not sure Torres would be willing to put in the work we require of our strikers. He'd be like a blonde Robinho, swanning around when we lose the ball. Perhaps if he's still shite a year from now he'll be desperate to do what it takes but I'd be surprised if he'd knuckle down in the short term.

I just dont know what it is with him, maybe he isnt willing to knuckle down and do the dirty work. Its a real shame as he was a super player and one I loved to watch. I know i will prob get slated for that on here as a lot dont like him but you cant say he wasnt good.

He was fantastic but I've never liked him as a character personally. It's hard to say what's wrong; fitness; attitude; confidence or a mixture of all those things. Maybe if Chelsea start to play better, he'll suddenly explode into life. A change of manager may ignite it.

He's so hot headed, against qpr he ran after players kicking and swinging his arms around and could easily have been sent off as well.today he was giving the ball away for fun.ive got a few chelski supporters in my exstended family(shame I know)and it was only recently they were raving about him.

Imo, he's got twice the natural ability of Duncan..sorry Phil Jones but is totally untrustworthy as a defender (at present). I recon if he sat in front of the defence instead, it could take the pressure off him & the attacking style which had Chelsea fans raving would come to the fore. Perhaps once he settles down, he could at least play fullback as well.

I think he is quality player but has been horrendous so far in Premierleague. I reckon he is going to be like Coloccini in that it will take him quite some time to adjust but he'll be good in the end. He is better leftback than centerback anyway.
