Worth keeping... Yey or Ney?

I thought he did well today, If we do end up in europa then i'd like to see him get the chance to play a few more.

I think he deserves to stay, you won't find a quality back-up keeper or as good as Panty.

You mean a daemon keeper.

Well worth keeping, far better than Taylor who has not impressed me half as much when called on.

He certainly kept us a clean sheet tonight with those saves, and looked better than a lot of regular keepers in the premier, if we dont play Joe in games then he`s a fair stand in on what we have seen so far.

Thought he was very impressive with some saves tonight, especially without first team practice.
Think he should play in goal all the way to the final (if we get there), and if we do get dumped into Europa League give him the experience in there.

Not 100% confident with him if he was called upon to take over from Hart, so think as much first team exposure in the Carling Cup and Europa to get him that extra experience.

Looked out of practice in the last round but really stepped up when it mattered. The saves from Park and Oxlade-Chamberlain were top drawer.

Also impressed with his punching from crosses - managed to send the ball into space near every time, rather than clearing it straight to an Arsenal player.

No.

He was good yesterday but he he strikes me as someone who will have loads of dodgy moments and our Romania posters said as much when we loaned him.

There's another thing. We got our starter for next.decade +. We don't need project keeper as back up. So for me back up keeper should be solid veteran who through experience is ready to step up immediately when needed and perform on.reasonable level.

someone compared him to Taylor but he shouldn't even be in this Club.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not quite, it's reference to His Dark Materials (trilogy of books by Philip Pullman). There's a character (well a deamon) called Pantalaimon - I have to admit it's the first thing I thought of when I heard we'd signed him.

Edit: Well that's what Lev was referring to - who knows about Jono!

Too hard to judge after only 2 games, only way to tell is when he plays 5 league games and im hoping that wont happen so undecided on him. In general though i agree with NDQP and with a lot of old experienced keepers out of contract in the summer id go down that route.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks OK to me. I would imagine we have better keeper coaches than Romanian clubs, so should get better. Back-up keepers are hard to find, but being one can lead to glory - ask Nigel Spink!

Taylor is absolute dogshite and if Hart ever gets injured I would be more worried because Taylor will be on the bench than Lemonpants being in goal.

This. Pantylemon could stay at the club and go on loan somewhere to play and develop (and get called back if our 1st keeper gets hurt)

but couple of fantastic saves yesterday to keep us in it. Good performance yesterday.
