Strong teams for semi

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Strong teams for semi

Postby john@staustell » Thu Dec 01, 2011 8:23 am

The first leg takes place after the FA Cup 3rd Round and before a Monday night game at Wigan, and the second leg before the 4th Round but just after the Spuds league game at home.

I would suggest we can easily play our strongest teams in the 2 semis and against Spuds, resting any injuries or tiredness in the other matches.

Need to go for it.

No doubt we need to and will go for it but at the same time Mancini will have to do some juggling with the squad given all the games going on.

And no Yaya!

I believe we should pick our best team for every premier league game, and then pick the best from the remaining players for cup competitions. I want the big one this year.

I want to win league cup, given what john has said im happy enough for strongest teams for these games, also i think we need to get some cover in centre midfield pref a loan, with yaya gone to ACN we cant rely on milner barry nigel and Hargreaves to cover the 11 games in that period, flamini on loan or a lonsgot but diarra(madrid)on loan too and we would be sorted.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it's a case of we never had to in the previous rounds. Would hate to come all this way to be beaten by a full strength diverpool team.

But last night the likelyhood of us winning the trophy increased massively;

1. We dont have a derby against a team desperate for revenge.

2. We face a side we have a good chance of beating over two legs.

3. The final is guaranteed against a Championship side
