Ooh, I think this is the first one I've started.

I have only used my SC once this season, which is a disgrace, but there have been a variety of pathetic excuses. Setting off in an hour, really looking forward to this one. Just hope that appalling M6 is clear, it can be a turd. It looks like a home banker but how often does it not turn out that way? I have no idea on predicitions for this one, so I'll leave it. Come on City!

So you started the thread and aren't even going to be here at match time to use it?

Waste of six stars you know.

I hope we use this match to regain the great form we showed at the beginning of the season. We have been in a bit of a slump lately, but still managed to get some great results. We knew we could not win by four for the whole season, but I hope having to grind out results can come to a halt for some time now and we can have our second wave of incredible results:-)

Eight!

Not to sure how to take this game, everytime I've seen Norwich they seem to be playing really decent football. I'm not quite as confident as i should be. How wierd is it to think that we were the under-dog not too long ago.

Maybe the Beebs Match Stats will pick me up:
-----------------------------------------------------

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

•Manchester City have won 17 of their previous 25 home league matches against Norwich, who have claimed just two wins during this time.

•It is 73 years ago this month since the first league encounter between the sides. Manchester City ran out 4-1 home winners that day.

Man City

•Manchester City are the fourth club - following Arsenal (twice), Manchester United and Liverpool - to remain unbeaten in the opening 13 Premier League matches of a season. The Arsenal team of 2003/04 and Manchester United last season went on to claim the title.

•Samir Nasri has created a scoring chance for team-mates more regularly than any other Premier League player - every 24.4 minutes.

•City have scored in 19 straight league games but have also now conceded in their last six - their longest run without a clean sheet since a seven-game streak from November to December 2009. That run ended in Roberto Mancini's first Premier League game in charge on Boxing Day 2009.

Norwich

•It is 14 games since their last top-flight victory in Manchester, a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford in August 1989.

•Norwich are looking for back-to-back wins for only the second time this season.

•A league-high 47% of Norwich's goals have come from crosses.

•Grant Holt is one goal short of 50 in the league for Norwich. He has 49 goals in 96 league matches for the club.

There's nothing so official as officiousness ;-)

SHOULD be a routine home win but the danger remains that some team will bite us in the bum.Don't think it will be today though and although I doubt we will run in loads of goals I am going for a clean sheet and 2 or 3 nil.

I've just had a couple of small bets as usual, nothing big. The odds for us losing really struck me....16.5-1, with around 7-1 the draw. Us winning is 1/2. Crazy in a 2 horse race.

I then checked the To Win The Premier League odds with Oddschecker, which compares all bookies. Every single bookie has us as odds on to win it. The Rags are 2ish-1 with no-one else given a chance. I know we are good and if we play our strongest 11 in the Premier League it will be hard for anyone else, but odds on at this stage really strikes me as amazing.

Anyway, better get up the M6. Back row of Level 1, let it rain! Was in Row C last season and got pissed on a few times.

Well the Norwich fans are full of hope. I don't mind them actually, they seem to play the game the right way with 100% effort until the end. I have a feeling we will go 3-0 up and hang on 3-2 at the end, having taken off the big guns early.

Whatever score we rack up, does anyone see us really keeping a cleansheet? Seems like hen's teeth at the moment.

That was my thoughts but they don't seem to do to well against Wigan.

You've never been concerned with being right about anything before.

we've got a very similar team it looks like ... aguero, silva, rvp ... i don't have adebayor though, may try to pick him up, think he was a bit too expensive for me at the time.

I have RVP as captain and silva as vice captain.
