Nasri last night.

Made the grade as a 100% worthy of a 1st 11 starting place City player imo. Creative, fast, athletic, intelligent, & excellent when we lost possession. A further progression from his last outing. This is great news for the coming tough period as he started to take on Silva's job, when Silva was a little off the game, then what happens ? Silva pops up from nowhere; 1-0.

With Milner's rise to a higher level, AJ scoring & creating almost every time he gets on the pitch, Balotelli getting better & better; we may be about to go up to yet another level.

I think he will be our answer to Yaya's upcoming absence. (Providing Milner and Barry both keep up the good work they have done this season)

Milner's going to be the key in Yaya's absence to provide that extra grit in midfield especially when we don't have the ball. He's not the biggest like Barry but Gaz Baz can strip the ball from anyone and Milner can harrass any player off the ball, and that's not including all of their offensive attributes. We'll be fine.

Regards to Nasri it's amazing what a goal can do!

i don't think it's the goal that's given him confidence - he was playing well even before he scored. i think bob has switched up his instructions. seems to have given nasri license to roam a lot more.

Mancini gave him a rocket up the arse last week, and it seems to have worked. Still think he's a bit of a flat track bully though, excellent in home games we are expected to win, not quite the same in dodgy away games. Not saying that is a bad thing as we 100% need to beat the 'lesser' teams every time to win the league. But you have to pick which games to start him in.

Nasri's settling in and doing well, hes a good player and still young so we can reap the benefits of the ebst years of his career. Similarly Milner has stepped it up this year, principally because he's been played in the right position in the centre and not out wide.

With those two, alongside Barry and De Jong we hopefully have enough whilst Ya Ya is awol.

For me the past 3/4 games he has been one of our best players. For me he is becoming as good as I hoped he would be.

He was class. But. I still think he can be more ballsy. I get the feeling that his mentality is that of playing amongst superior players. I believe he's of the required level, but expect him to gain in confidence, and become even better. Just needs a big game where he is the difference.

Totally agree, but I still think he hasn't been in the form he has been with Arsenal last season. Still room for improvement.

I would a looked good against Stoke, Ted.We dont know what will happen when Ya Ya goes. Milner aint gonna do the same job, that's for sure. We've got a lot of options but we've never started with out Ya Ya which is pure stupidity on Bob's part.My guesse. Nige out the door, de Rossi in.
