Warnock Says Fine Clubs

Now I really like Warnock for his passion for the game. Yes his teams have at times looked like alehouse brawlers but he has always sounded like a fan of the game.
However his latest assertion regarding Suarez, that because Fulham fans had been giving him abuse about cheating and diving, it perhaps excused him, and that maybe clubs should be fined if their fans pick on a player, is really quite sad.
There is a thread about atmosphere on here at the mo, and the lack of passion in many grounds, now it is being suggested that further restrictions should be foisted on supporters chanting.
Why on earth should you not be able to give somebody a hard time for their antics. Why shouldn't supporters try and create a hostile atmosphere for the visitors? It's part of the game and always has been.
Added to which, it's true, he is one cheating little fucker!

he was on talkshite this morning, they play liverpool 2morrow at anfield hes probably
just humouring the dippers fans in readiness before the match, you can guarantee
if suarez dives and gets a penalty hell change is tune in the interview after the match.
he also said just hearing gerry and the, pacemakers before the match sends shivers down his spine.

If they fine the clubs for fans shouting it's probably the last nail in the coffin of football.

Not for us - we can afford the fines.
