80 notes for the two legs plus travel and beers with the FA Cup match slipped in.

Might have to be quiet about football to the missus and just sneak out.

I see the fuckers are taking the money out a good 6 weeks before the game. The club are becoming more Mune like by the day.

I really cannot afford this on top of Christmas so if anyone is interested in 1, possibly 2 face value tickets in EL3 for this game please make yourself known.

i'm in the market for two, are they beside each other? I always have probs getting two tickets as i only have one card with pts on it. I wont be arriving over until the day of the match though which could complicate things?

Yeah just like the way most working class families have been fucked over by the government and are struggling to make ends meet each month. Fair play to you if you can afford it but please don't mock me because I have a mortgage to pay and a family to feed.

Im in the same boat pal, mortgage, kids and working class too. If you dont want to go then fine, but given the dearth of big games weve had for 30 odd years, and in comparison to the lions share of clubs, £37 or £40 for a Cup semi-final its probably around par for the course in ticket price. Thats the reality of football these days, and doesnt mean City are getting like the munes as you asserted earlier. The munes give you no choice if you are a season ticket holder, with City you have a choice to attend or not as a Season Ticket holder.

You missed my point mate. The price is here nor there (well it is but thats another subject) its the taking of my the money 6 weeks before the game is played that I feel is a massive piss take, hence the mune like comment. If they were to take it the week before orvthe same week then I'd be ok with it.

Thing is, the club may need this time to shift the tickets. You are being given first refusal to but yours, and a timespan to do so. If you dont want to, then the club will move the tickets down the scale, thats all.

That said, it is a shame if you cant make it but Im sure others will take up your seat. Some day soon Ill likely be in the same boat if prices keep going up.

Football is bloody expensive, I will agree on that - I take 2 kids with me and purpsoely take my own food and drink now to save on the costs.

Is the 16-21 only for 16-21s, or do students over the age threshold also qualify, does anyone know?

A mate pointed out to me a few years ago that nearly every ballet or opera performed in Britain has cheaper ticket prices than the average Prem football match...
