Rags still have to visit arsenal, tottenham, chelsea and us away.

Out of the top teams..we only have to visit the Emirates and we are still ahead at this stage

I'm starting to believe

Maybe it might be spuds who push us?

Was thinkjng the same thing today. Out of the top 5, we only played Arsenal home. 7 points from the away matches will prove to be very vital at the end of the season.
Still a long way to go though.

Too far to go to think about how one weekends results change things. If we keep playing theway we have we will be unbelievably hard to beat for the title but if the scum keep getting results by playing ok against opposition that don't bother turning up it will go to the wire. And Spurs will be a threat if they keep key players fit.

Since the first couple of games of the season, Spurs haven't really played anyone of real note and their current run has largely been unnoticed because they've sneaked under the radar.

I personally think there's a brittleness about them and they'll get found out when they play the stronger sides and I can see them falling apart towards the end of the season.

As for ourselves, we should just go out to win every game, whether it be home or away and, as part of that process, try keep a few more clean sheets and, in so doing, let the League Table take care of itself.

I looked at this the other day. Out of the top 6 in the first half of the season.

City 1 home, 4 away.
Filth 4 home, 1 away.
Spurs 4 home, 1 away.(1 still unplayed)
Chelsea 3 home, 2 away.(1 still unplayed)
Arsenal 1 home, 4 away.
Liverpool 2 home, 3 away.

Work out the top 6 table after the game on Thursday.

I guarantee they'll lose against the rags as they always do. They're another of those sides who are too scared to actually play them.

As others have said, rags are poor and would be torn to shreds by their team of a couple of seasons ago, yet they were top for a while this afternoon and will still be there in April. Hopefully there will be a gap come May

Who thought we'd be cheering Chelsea in that match a couple of months back.

If the remaining fixtures finish with the same results as last season, here is the projected final table:

Hate to say it, but, it's possible for us to end up on 90+ points and still not win the League.

Rags weren't poor v QPR, they played pretty well, as they did v Wolves to some extent.

My gripe is that it's taken weeks of teams bending over, to finally manage to play them into some kind of form. On the form they showed v QPR, they'd have a fair chance of beating Chelsea away & Spurs will almost certainly miss three open nets then roll over. The cheesemonkeys will probably be back in surrender mode by the time they play them. All of those teams COULD beat them but we can't rely on any of them. They'll probably draw at somewhere shite, like we did at Fulham but we will slip up occasionally too.

We have to do our job, & win the games we are capable of winning. If we do, we win the league; it's that simple.
