With him supposedly definitely off in january, i wasn't right bothered tbh.
however, thought he was fantastic today. don't think he did a lot wrong, and we really had a lot to be worried about from arse's many set pieces today.

I agree solid game. Lescott will probably be played against Stoke to counter their aerial threat but on that form it would be a shame to lose him.

Good side to play against, cos he's always gonna give that extra bit against the Arse, but I was a bit perplexed as to why Joleoen was benched. Rotation?

Horses for courses and a rest for Joleon before the high ball stuff on wednesday.

Did well for the most part today but dropped a potentially points dropping clanger which would have been cause for a lynching if 'you know who' had done the same.
He's always enthusiastic but whenever he plays, imo, we defend like Hughes' team ie; kean but totally disorganised.

he's shown promise in his last two appearances and yesterday he played well, also Kompany looked better with Kolo next to him. I think he just needs games to get back on track.

when i first started watching City (and the EPL for that matter) a few seasons ago and Kolo was captain I thought that the Kolo-Kompany pairing was much better than Lescott-Kompany....and then Kolo kinda faded away with his ban and loss of form. That couldve been my initial lack of knowledge about the squad and sport but after seeing the Kolo-Kompany pairing yesterday they sure looked good.

Better.
Still feel happier with Joleon in.
I wasn't much bothered if he went in Jan (he is on big bucks for a start) but on reflection, he can certainly do a useful job if he shapes like he did against The Arse.

We cannot afford an injury at CB and would stick with kolo until Jan keeping joleon under wraps

It's a good point well made.
But I still think Joleon is better equipped to deal with Stoke's threat.
Perhaps then Kolo til he buggers off.
