I'm not sure whether he's right or wrong on this one so it could be me who looks a knob, but he played advantage for an offside today.
The QPR player was offside, the flag went up, United played a couple of passes and lost possession then he pulled the play back for the original offside.
Like I say, not sure if he's right or wrong but I've certainly never seen it before.

Thought he had a great game, one of the better refs imo

Surely the ref just counts to make sure they dont have more than 11? It's the team's responsibility to get on the field on time second half, and I seem to remember us starting a second half with 9 when Mario or someone was fuckin about.

when we played spurs the 5-1, savic ran on to the pitch as sub,
i cant remember which city player he was replacing, but he hadnt left the pitch.
savic immediate booking. the thing is if gabbidon had just run on the pitch to make it 11 v 11
he could have got booked and seeing he already had been booked in the first half
could have been booked again therefore sent off.according to the rules he is supposed to even make
sure they are ready to play. as in tennis, cricket etc, if a bowler runs in and the batsman isnt ready
the umpire will stick his arm out and stop the bowler from delivering the ball.
lets take it to extremes,
if federrer v nadal are at wimbledon, during a changeover every odd game,
would federrer serve while nadal was drinking some orange juice sat on his stool.
and i know they have a time limit.

Come on you guys; as one of Fergiescum's most vital and valuable signings, Howard Webb doesn't really need to know the rules.

perhaps people might think I am a bit paranoid?
but he always seems to have a good game when the scum are in charge and safe - it is when they are under-pressure and need a favour that I have always been concerned

There are no rules in football so you are correct, Webb doesn't know them.
