Thanks to Steveo for his preview and looking forward to this game. As always I like to read the Beebs view and especially the stats. Thought I'd share.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
•Manchester City have won the past three Premier League encounters.
•The highest-scoring match between them came on 21 September 1957, when West Brom beat City 9-2 at The Hawthorns (Bloody hell!).
West Brom
•West Brom have won two of their past seven Premier League matches.
•They have lost all five previous Premier League matches on Boxing Day, failing to score in each of the last four.
•Albion have only achieved back-to-back league wins once this season.
•Peter Odemwingie scored his third Premier League goal of the season against Blackburn last weekend. West Brom have won all three matches in which he has scored.
Manchester City
•City are the first team for 49 years to score 50 goals in their first 16 top-flight matches (and the ninth club to achieve this in the history of English football).
•They have only once failed to score in their 26 matches (in all competitions) this season.
•Roberto Mancini's side are looking to keep three consecutive clean sheets for the first time this season.
•With five goals so far, David Silva has already beaten last season's tally of four.
Come on City!!!

Will today be the day Silva gets a rest? Nasri/AJ to step up and make the difference?

Hmmm (casts a suspicious eye in Doug's direction).

Potentially a tricky game this, West Brom will attack and we have looked dodgy at the back recently. Full strength, no one should be rested.

I hope they do, gives us much more space to attack back.
We can outscore any team that comes at us in this league.

Plus, the oppo in our last game didn't have a shot, so the 'dodgy at the back' thing may be a little harsh..

Whats the word on Richards? Has he aggrivated his previous injury (resulting in him being subbed last match) and if so how long is he out for?

From the OS
Micah Richards is hoping to shake off a fresh calf knock in time to play his part in the busy holiday period.
So it's a new injury and it doesn't sound like it is too bad as they were hopeful he would make it today.

Slightly worried that he's not on the subs bench though.

So, Barry's the one getting a rest, not Silva.

Dzeko was injured last week and was an injury doubt. Probably just a precaution
