It's interesting to see, now, where Manchester United play their games after an away fixture in the CL. Doesn't David Gill have a dual job role with them and the FA now? Indeed, take tomorrow as a case in fact where, after a gruelling England international, they have a plum home game against Stoke 'lay-down-and-die-in-Salford' City.

Moreover, should Chelsea draw a Premiership team either at home or away in the 3rd round of the FA Cup this season, I'll eat my socks.

From reading that, you'll fit right in ;-)

It would be a valid point except that they are away from home after every champions league away fixture this year - the exact opposite of what we cried foul over last year.

Nice try though

Where is that blog with the return of refs to united games and the penalties/red cards they tend to give in uniteds favour on their returns?

Clattenberg is a twat. Complete and utter twat. Bent counts the lot of them.

Yeah. This has had nothing to do with clattenberg or the bent cunts who run the game. To quote one of the commentators "the bounce of the ball went uniteds way today".

The Torres second yellow (and so a red) makes me feel ill.

At least it's only a one game ban each. I wonder who Chelsea play next?

That will be SAF's only gripe with Clattenburg as he would have wanted Torres to play in the next game.

There is one on here who still doesn't. I swear to fuck. He reckons it's all in everyone else's head.

Anyway, fuck it. If we win the league this season, it will be an incredible achievement.

I think it's pretty fucking obvious that the majority of the media, FA, UEFA etc all fucking hate rich, Arab oil funded City. You'd have to be a fool not to see it.

Trouble is 90% of football fans are fucking sun reading, talk sport listening, pundit believing fucking lemmings.

Can't agree more.
But why do the club lie down and take it? That bit I don't understand.

Maybe because image is all-important.

I'd have said something along the lines of "Sort it out, or you, mister riley, will start having accidents" a long time ago.

In England or perhaps the UK, seems that's who they cater to. I still hear sterling get booed.

yeah Tosic commits a foul , complains to the ref and picks the ball up throwing it down the field a good 20 metres from where the offence took place and the tosser does nothing about it

The Everton left back Baines saunters to take a corner applauding the away fans , finally gets the ball, readjusts his boots ,socks, hair , takes a good look around and finally about two minutes after the ref gave the corner he looks like he might take it!

KdB can't place the ball for a corner at the Stoke game because of the horrendous winds. He manages somehow to take a corner , the wind blows the ball and the linesman flags it !

Tosic wins the ball but in doing it takes Kun out , ref says play on .

Sagna apparently knocks the player to the ground ! foul against City.

Only 3 minutes of extra time inspite of all the Everton timewasting!

Rags get 8 mins extra and a dubious penalty right at the end against a lower division team to go through. Get the luck of a bad header by toilet brush hitting the outstretched arm of the player on tuesday.

Oh and don't even mention that corrupt git Madley !
