I am in the top 10 of people who love City the most.
Some people disagree, fine, they are entitled to.
Some people want to stop those of us who feel this way from expressing an opinion.
To you; go fuck yourselves.
Love, bigblue.

Absolute quality post Gillie.
I love City so much I could burst!!! When I was at around 9 years old I started to realise what supporting a football team was all about. Luckily my dad took me to watch City play at Maine Road, when Blobby Fowler had his blonde hair and nose band. We won and from that day on I knew I was going to be a City fan for the rest of my life. As soon as it was Christmas I asked Santa for the City away shirt. I remember getting it with the number 8 on the back for Paul Walsh.
I <3 CITY!

I think it's inevitable that United will get mentioned here more than any other club, apart from City. As long as there have been City forums there have been discussions about other teams, and the Rags more than every other combined, probably. We are now competing with them in every department, so if anything you should expect them to be mentioned even more.
If they were scuffing around in mid-table or flirting with relegation all the time, or had dropped down to the third division while we were winning Premier Leagues and European Cups then it would be strange to read much about them at all. It says a lot, then, that those fixated bastards were still fretting about "little old City" even when we were predictably average or just plain shite. Now is the time to stick it back to them, and many of us have waited 20, 30, even 40 years to do that. Not mention them? Not likely!

I once suggested a sub forum so that all the obssessed fucking morons on this board who wont shut up about them will have a place to cream/cry over them without those of us who are here to support City having to tolerate their crap.

Some of us have had to listen to the crowing that's come our way from the rags for too many years. It's a long long time since the glory days of Mercer, Allison and Book when we could crow back. I'm enjoying us becoming the top dogs again and I love the anti-rags comments. If you don't - tough, but we're entitled to write our jibes - just as you're entitled to hate them. Just ignore what you don't want to read.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.

great post chief. They are our biggest rivals, both inter city and in terms of competitions, so they're going to be mentioned plenty.

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

If you live in manc then you have to deal with the rag followers on a daily basis.. so it's different. I would say though that it is valid to have a bit more of an obsession with what is going on with them simply due to the fact we are currently fighting for the title. If it were Arsenal in second we would be going on about them no end and looking in more detail about their form etc etc. So I'd say it natural to be looking at the rivals.. it's just that being the rags it makes it 100 times worse. Still that said my heart is with Gillie, fucl em and everything to do with them.
